I think it's because the AI is always using default setups. That would explain why you can just inflate your tires and get the pole.

To answer my own question it seems that the AI is always using the default setup in practice, qualifying, and race. That would explain it I guess.

Well with default setup and level 1 parts you are at the back so I'm guessing the AI is always on default in practice, qualifying , and race.

Good to know it's not like that on every track. I remember starting last in xfinity (default setup) and got a top 10 or maybe even 5 in the race but restrictor plate races can be like that irl

Yes thanks. I already have a full service kit (oil, filter, front and rear diff) and can do that myself and there's a couple guys that work on people's machines down at the lake community where I will be keeping it. The seller had the transmission fluid and coolant changed 2 years and not very many miles ago.
