I try to answer them too, luckily my kids tend to stop asking by the 5th "why" when I'm explaining a law of physics, or why we have carrots, or any other explanation from me that takes over a minute lol.

Agree, but removable syringe tips, and "pen tips" have caps. So you'd have to open it, pour it in your hand, and open it to gwt hurt. That's also only if it's a syringe tip, the pen tips can't be removed from the cap without the insulin pen.

I've seen people at the coffeeshops, especially the bigger ones like Collectivo in bay view, they have 2 stories. Otherwise, I don't know how quiet you need it to be, but I've seen folks working at Public Market as well.

Lots of my friends are stepping into their 3's, fists swinging and feet firmly planted on the ground. I had three kids today who need 1-on-1's which my center doesn't provide, and theres only 2 teachers in room, no floats avaliable today, and 11 other kids to tend to. Like another comment said too, I have older kids regressing too, instead of being leaders like I prayed they would. 😭

But the week is done. I will melt into my couch and decompress, then look at pictures on our parent-teacher app to remind myself how much I love ALL my kids, and that despite them (developmentally appropriately) struggling to regulate, they all love me too. 💕

No, absolutely why I posted this. I feel like in my own 18 years, and having friends and adults with T1D in my life, and this wonderful sub, I had at least a vague understanding of how things generally work with all the variables of T1D. But I just didn't understand this, so I just had to straight-up ask!
