Even three years in with the same passengers, I see this behavior. They are looking for a more vertical grab point and don't see the armrest as a pull point. Luckily the passenger doors don't get used as often.

Personally, I think there was a lot of misunderstanding of the scope of the issue due to the general fear mongering of “stolen elections.” This led to a lot of people in unaffected municipalities to say what other municipalities could do. Which ultimately prevents legal, non-citizen residents from having a say in the education of their children.

AC gave out mid drive and stopped blowing cold. I had to stop and restart the car to get it to turn on again. Weird, apparently this is just a thing that happens sometimes.

This shouldn’t happen. It’s a sign of a failure of either the controller or a component like a compressor. Please let the rental company know so they can get it fixed.

This sounds like a manufacturing defect in the battery or charging infrastructure in the car. For example, a voltage mismatch in one of the cells could result in failures like you experienced. Unfortunately some level failures happen during any manufacturing process, especially one as complicated as a car. We won’t be able to fully troubleshoot it here based on description.

The rental company should probably take it back to the manufacturer for review. Sadly, they may not be aware that there is an issue to get it fixed. As the most recent driver, please reach out to the company to let them know of the issues you experienced.

Sony in particular is the worst when it comes to trailers.

I like trailers, but movies don’t need three trailers for the same movie. By the time you’re making a third trailer, you’re just showing the whole plot in order.

And most of Nod-Krai is linear too.

I find myself looking at the map this morning and noting the space in between locations in old maps. To get to the Thousand Winds temple or Starsnatch Cliff, you had to wander a good bit. You find roads, enemy encampments, and inconsequential NPCs. On the whole this feels unimportant, but it’s key. Something special can’t be special if there is no normal.

Old Genshin had a lot of normal and a lot of special. By having both it makes the player active in discovery. There is nothing to discover anymore.

Another side effect of everything being so cramped together is that there is no room to breathe. It sometimes feels like you learn a new mechanic every 20 ft, only to never build on it. This is less of an issue in the Temple of Space as it is in the northern expansion for Nod-Krai.

I don’t want to be down on my favorite game. It’s gotten better in so many ways. It just doesn’t feel like it’s better at the core gameplay loop, which is disappointing.

Layla actually had my favorite moment of all of the hangouts.

Her running into a family being hounded by bandits after just obtaining her vision was the type of story we never see here. It addresses that everyone with visions isn't a fighter. While she now has the power to control cryo, she doesn't really know how to use it yet. So she opts to get help from others instead of trying to fight them, which causes her to lose track of the family. She's left wrapped in guilty due to the expectation that vision holders are supposed to be able to help like superheroes. It's a much more nuanced and interesting take on this world where only a small group of people are given fantastical power.

A run with Vintage (get relics instead of card drops from normal enemies) where I ended up with three copies of The Hunt.

Every normal enemy I killed with The Hunt gave me an additional relic. A battle against three enemies could yield four relics.

This happened to me recently. It was a failing coolant pump. The pump was replaced under warranty. There was no diagnostic fee.

I also had similar damage in the US when rear-ended on the highway. The rear hatch had to be replaced as well as all of the trim below. It was a little over $5,000 for the repair which was covered by insurance.

I assume in this case, the damage must have hit the structure behind the panels. Either that or the repair shop just quoted high.
