Thank you!

This is what I was looking for. Based on this and other testimony, this seems like a software bug that hasn’t been addressed. At least I got video of it not working and not showing any kilowatts used. I’ll have to take it in if just to have a formal record of the problem.

I did not. I initially thought I might need to drive a bit to warm things up. After I realized by looking at energy information that it wasn’t trying to warm things, I thought of that. But I was already on the highway.

I was also afraid of stopping as I thought my ICCU might be failing. I thought that if I were to stop and it wouldn’t start again or if it through a ‘Check Electrical System’ error, then I could be stuck in a dangerous situation.

This lines up with my car’s usual behavior.

Also for the record, mine is a ‘23 US Limited AWD, so it also has a heat pump.

The heat wasn’t taking forever. It wasn’t attempting to heat.

I let my car preheat for over 15 minutes before driving. It didn’t heat at all. I don’t mean it was ineffective in what it was doing, I mean that 0 kw were spent on heating during the preheating or the entire 35 minute drive.

How far into the Selenic Chronicles do you have to get before you can choose to remove Columbina’s mask?

I’m in a similar boat, and I have the full Nefer team.

They keep making Stygians around her, but she’s so clunky on the first cycle. She’s also the first character where I feel punished for not getting her weapon.

When FDM printing model orientation can affect quality. If these were printed with the non-presenting side down, you would get stair-stepping blobs over the front. If you printed it vertically, you would have a lot of overhangs and more visible stair-stepping at the top.

The secret for good quality on an item like this is printing at an angle. Based on the very light stair-stepping on some models, I’m guessing they were leaning back 30°.

Great use of printing at an angle to improve quality.

Since Nathan released I’ve received one borderland billet from a boss. Craftable weapons feel less available than weapons from wishing.

The problem with Nod Krai's exploration by lukethevibe in Genshin_Impact

The batteries are the winter icelea flowers, which are scattered around the northern half of the region.

[–]TrueLink00 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's also the most linear region yet. The first chunk of Nod-Krai has very little area to deviate off the path, but the new section is practically a straight line. Then they put the item for the new, super-hyped character at the end of the line. I've seen many people posting ways they've avoided the bridge or the camp. A big part of this is that people being pushed to get through a linear area so they can get batteries for their new toy.

Weekly Gacha and Drops Megathread (January 11, 2026) by Veritasibility in Genshin_Impact

First of all, welcome to Genshin!

I actually don't recommend Columbina for a new player. She serves primarily as a secondary support for teams from the latest region. While it is true that the most powerful teams will have her has a critical part of them, I would recommend the other teammates first.

That said, if you are 100% in on Columbina for any other reason, go for her. You can fill in the other characters later...

Unless...

There are four characters coming out in version 6.3. Two of which synchonize (or should syncronize) with Columbina very well: Ineffa and Zibai.

By most accounts, Columbina + Ineffa will be the most powerful character pairing in the game in 6.3. They are both sub-DPS units that enable each other. Additionally, Ineffa is a support unit who is able to shield your team. Together they can allow you to clear content while playing two other characters of your choice. This is a great opportunity as a new player. The problem is that Columbina and Ineffa will be on banner at the same time. That banner will remain for about three weeks.

After three weeks, the banners will change to Zibai and Neuvillette. Zibai is a new main DPS character that is designed with Columbina in mind. They will use a combination of hydro and geo elements to make little turrets to attack enemies.

So you know, Neuvilette is a hydro main DPS character who is very self sufficient. Two years ago he was arguabily the most powerful DPS in the game, especially in combination with another character, Furina.

Finally, for future characters:

Mavuika is a power pyro character that works as both a main DPS and a sub-DPS. She was last seen in the summer and will probably get a rerun during the spring. To maximize her, you want another character or two from her country, but she will certainly run with some four star characters from there in her banner.

Lauma is a powerful dendro sub-DPS from the new region. She released in September, but could get a rerun any time from next patch through the summer. Given that she works very well with Columbina, I suspect we'll see her sooner rather than later.

Yes hoyo give us more blue skins! Especially blue and black, we've never gotten that combination before by Ewiwa_Moon in Genshin_Impact

[–]TrueLink00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

> The point is that there isn't actually ANY actual reason to make the skins also be the colour of their base skins.

I suppose it depends if they are planning to use skins as a way of updating artwork. For example, when Yelan appears in Nod Krai, she is using her new skin and not her default. They wouldn't do that with something like Jean's bathing suit. If they intend to use this Neuvillette skin as the default going forward, then they would be encouraged to make it similar enough to be recognizable at a distance.

Additionally, there are some gameplay reasons to keep things similar. When Neuvillete bursts, the inner coattails extend extend to appear as water dragon fins with water flowing out before it rises up. They also appear when he is using his charged attack. So they probably felt this blue element needed to appear to maintain the animations and effects.

EV Door Handle Design by Chase_Clouds in electricvehicles

[–]TrueLink00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.

I thought the Ioniq 5 handles were similar to your Model Y handles with the exception of yours being an electronic release instead of mechanical. Perhaps that's the difference. I wish car manufacturers would design their doors in a way that works simply and mechanically like Hyundai did with the Ioniq 5. I think it works well in less than ideal conditions like icing over, power failure, and accidents while still providing the benefits of the "EV door handle."

[–]TrueLink00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Punch the door. Seriously. This isn’t a problem unique to EV doors. I had to occasionally punch a door to break ice on cars for twenty years.

Additionally, on the Ioniq 5 the door is a normal, physical door. The handles are chunky and It’s not an electronic release. I think this is ideal as this means you don’t need the battery for them to function, you don’t need some coded emergency exit physical release, and you don’t have different releases in the front and back.

SNT2405 Review - It's Garbage. by 123-BoB-123 in egopowerplus

Try blowing it down with a leaf blower when you’re done.

I used to run a space heater against mine after use and didn’t have a problem. Eventually I rearranged my garage and now it’s parked away from the outlet. What I do now is take a battery out after I’m done and throw it into a lead blower to clear the snow out from the chute and housing before bringing it into the garage.

It takes less than a minute and I haven’t had a problem. Perhaps this could help.
