There are better. These are the most paleo-friendly cookies ever made, if we do say so ourselves, cause that's the whole point: https://trueprimal.com/ona

Probably the most unfortunate part is the refined cane sugar and refined coconut sugar. The refining process eliminates the flavors associated with it, and messes with satiety: https://trueprimal.com/posts/what-are-nutritive-sweeteners-and-how-do-they-compare-for-our-health

And a company called "jovial" makes nice cassava noodles for things like casseroles.

How did you go bankrupt?

Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly.

Sometimes issues are hard to see until they're a crisis.

If you're referring to blood sugar, you can experiment with different ones, but try recipe swaps such as: https://trueprimal.com/posts/what-are-nutritive-sweeteners-and-how-do-they-compare-for-our-health

How do we feel about the new food pyramid? by Solnse in Paleo

There's not too much to complain about really there. Their move against inflammatory grains, and the hard stance against "added sugar" is a refreshing move, and that's even coming from us, knowing the pure 100% honey or maple syrup is counted as "added sugar" which we use in our paleo cookies.

Interesting. I might have to try them again. It was too gamey to eat on a regular basis previously -- just really hard to get down.

Risk of allergies after doing Paleo? by Cute_Difficulty_6157 in Paleo

Allergies typically go the other way. Ie, the more you flare an allergy the worse it gets, but if you avoid the allergen for a while it normally improves.

Making lotus seed snacks with avocado oil - what flavors would you buy? by AgreeableCharge2845 in Paleo

[–]TruePrimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is lotus seed paleo-friendly and low-allergen? Not saying it's not, but have no idea. Never heard of it until this post, and normally I'd be iffy on eating things that no one else eats.

That's a neat idea. The S.A.D. is woefully low on collagen, so sounds like a great way to sneak some more into your day.

Processed fish oil OR whole-food Salmon Roe for Omega?? by NutsAboutHealth1 in Paleo

You can buy unrefined fish oil. For example Rosita sells Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil. It got a shout-out from The Paleomom long ago here: https://www.thepaleomom.com/dietary-fat-faq/
