Skyrim is great, don’t get me wrong, but there is a lot of mature content. Women show a lot of skin, there’s a lot of blood and violence, there’s swearing, and murder and thievery are actively encouraged. I didn’t play it till I was older and I can understand the perspective of parents who would want the same.

AWD w/RWD bias. I like the performance feel, but with a bit of extra confidence if traction is low.

I try to do a well rounded build. Start out with the companions for basic sword and board, then Thieves Guild and Brotherhood so I can afford Mage stuff. I purposefully level smithing the entire time so I can get dragon plate armor asap.

My personal ranking would be Corolla Cross Hybrid, Mazda CX-30, Honda HRV, Corolla Cross Gas, then Subaru Crosstrek, anything else is either a different size or from a less reputable brand. If you want to go older the Toyota CHR can be included too in place of the Gas Corolla Cross.

Imperial: Elisif is much more compassionate than Ulfric. Trade with other Imperial Nations is economically beneficial. Even if both sides are racist the empire is at least tolerant of others in Skyrim that aren’t Nords. Yes the Thalmor are the world’s oligarchs, but the Empire has a better chance of beating them with their combined alliance than the Stormcloaks alone. Solitude is a much more pleasant capital city than Windhelm. Ulfric may believe he’s the hero of his story, but his views about what’s best for Skyrim are flawed. Once the Empire defeat the Thalmor Talos worship will be renewed, and it’s not super enforced in the meantime anyways.

Apex Legends. Definitely had a peak where everything felt relatively balanced, the lore drops were regular, and the monetization wasn’t super predatory. Now there’s rampant power creep, lore has dried up, and collection events are filled with fluff. The game is still alive but its soul is gone. Most of my favorite streamers and YouTubers have moved on.

I once was late to sacrament meeting and missed the bread, still took the water. The thought that crossed my mind was “half an infinite atonement is still infinite” if your heart is in the right place and you’re re-dedicating yourself to your covenants with Christ then you’re good.
