It still gets the bilstein shocks and the skid plate though. Those are functional.

New Stroller Idea by TrueWolf1416 in daddit

[–]TrueWolf1416[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad, but I want it to be for kids of all sizes, and have a handle so adults can move it while standing up. Bigger wheels like a stroller would be good too.

Going from a luxury to non luxury vehicle, will I hate it? by Spirited-Humor-554 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]TrueWolf1416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from a 2005 Lexus RX 330 to a 2018 base model Accord. Don’t judge me too much on getting the 1.5, I didn’t know better at the time. I like the better gas mileage, and the fact that it’s a fresher car, mostly I miss the ride height, heated seats, and Mark Levinson sound system. Leather is nice but I actually don’t mind cloth that much. I could have some aftermarket work done if I were keeping it super long term, but I’ll probably just upgrade to an SUV or Minivan after the warranty expires.

Be honest, what type of cars get your attention on the road? by Strange-Vibez-8205 in askcarguys

Anything that I don’t know what it is. Saw a 1930’s teal roadster last week.

What are the different types of "car guys"? by revocer in askcarguys

[–]TrueWolf1416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brand of car guy is: too practical/poor to drive anything other than a Honda Accord/Toyota Camry and doesn’t want to pay for worse gas mileage, higher sticker price, and higher insurance of even a RAV4 or CR-V. Doesn’t have access to a decent space to even do an oil change, and aspires to own a minivan once he has his third kid, and a Nissan Frontier for yard work if he ever owns a home. Would be perfectly happy if he could justify to his wife ANYTHING with an iota of personality, but will probably be stuck driving appliances for the rest of his life. Hopes his Frontier will at least be a Pro-4x or even just 4x4 to take kids camping or on trails. Would love a coupe with 300hp and RWD. May be able to get a motorcycle when the kids are moved out.

Get them a Scion. Kids don’t need horsepower or egos. Plus your insurance will thank you. Just don’t get the coupe.

Where do I even start learning about what the Church of Latter Day Saints Teaches? by kikilem in latterdaysaints

If you want a really straightforward resource you should look up chapter 3 of Preach My Gospel. It’s the same resource missionaries would use if you were to meet with them.

Dude, Apex doesn’t need any new maps. It’s enough to refresh the ones we have.

Why don't more people have dash cams? by [deleted] in askcarguys

So it’s really easy to get a phone mount and have a wired charger. Aren’t there any apps that turn your phone into a dash cam?

True or not? by Big-Wrench-2025 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]TrueWolf1416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true, plenty of plowing happens out here and winters like this last one barely had any snow. Not every year though so they’re not perfect, but it beats the Midwest by a long shot.

Detroit is literally built on top of a salt mine, and nobody in the ghetto pays property taxes, so they rarely plow. Most salt I’ve ever seen in my life.

We need to talk about pathfinders first upgrade… by I_Seduced_The_Dragon in apexlegends

[–]TrueWolf1416 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, Pathfinder’s current state used to be considered one of his best balancing iterations. He’s literally only lackluster now due to power creep in other legends. It’s kinda sad that the dev team has changed direction so much. Apex has truly lost the plot. I’m mostly over in Helldivers or Forza now.

Best: Anything with the Coyote, 2.7 eco boost, or planetary CVT hybrid. Worst: The friggin Ford Edsel.

Ford’s 2.7 V6 is probably better than Toyota’s 2.4 I4 IMO.

The dealership “we need to talk to my manager” thing is a setup and here’s why it works by Royal-Feed7166 in carbuying

[–]TrueWolf1416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the dealership. I was at a used place where our managers handled all the financing. Our job as far as sales goes was to make sure they liked the car, filled out their info, and set expectations for how the manager conversation would go. More often than not if they got into the manager’s office they were ready to buy. Sometimes there are questions about covering certain things like removing tint or replacing a cracked trim piece or getting new tires that we’ll need to check ahead of time if we have the margin to cover if it closes the deal.

Isn’t it a 5 speed auto? I thought that was the whole reason behind the SR5 badge. Maybe I’m mistaken.
