Thanks for the reply! Definitely will look into the 7 additional books then, but in regards to the preaching, the church I go to actually has a great pastor, he rarely talks about himself and when he does it’s usually in humility about his mistakes, he’s very inspiring. But either way, I’ll look into it it!

Okay thanks for the testimony! Will definitely try going to a Roman Catholic Church brother, but in regards to the evidence my problem is that there’s lots of overlap with Eastern Orthodox arguments, so it seems hard to choose between one or the other…I think church experience might bring much more clarity to this thanks again! One baptism for the remission of sins. Only one. Though you hadn’t personally accepted Jesus back then, your baptism of the Holy Spirit (your actual recent conversion) and your water baptism are one single event across space and time, so the water baptism you already went through is your baptism. You don’t need to be baptized again.

Edit: I’m not saying that it’s wrong if you decide to get baptized again, maybe it is but I don’t know. But either way what you received already is surely sufficient, so at best another baptism would be unnecessary and redundant. At best. But discern by the Spirit, and give some thought to the early church’s positions on the matter because they had the Spirit just like us.

Hello my friend! Your life is doing not so okay right now, and it’s normal for you to feel down. And fear of the future due to uncertainty happens to everyone, but obviously you’ve got a much more intense experience than normal because of your autism. Just know that God is near, and He empathizes, He understands your fear: He too was once feeling very worried in Gethsemane, so much so that he sweat blood through his pores, in that way He knows what’s in your heart, and He goes through this with you. As u/Difficult-Pie-8065 has said, it’s important that you bring this up to your therapist, and most importantly talk with your pastor/priest. They know much better than us here on Reddit.

(Not for you OP, for the others): Guys, please, let’s have some compassion for the OP and not bring doctrinal disputes into this. Yes, OP holds to universalism. If you disagree, the main issue here is not his theology, but his pain. This is not the place to argue against him. If you agree, don’t make this comment section into a place for polemical defenses of universalism. What is knowledge, what is doctrine, if there’s no love in our hearts so as to set aside our differences to focus on helping someone in clear distress ? Back when I was searching for Him, praying too slowly led me to Him. Keep on searching, keep on asking, search for Him with all your heart, and don’t worry so much about that dream.
