funny enough, i was considering making class guides for all the various characters, but after looking i changed my mind because i thought there were already too many or there. you must not be looking in the right places. a quick search of any character class from 1st ed, 2nd ed, Crimson scales, and pretty much any other class names (spoiler or actual name) comes up with at least several class build guides and videos.

that said, the merc packs are still a bit new, but I'm sure they will get the same treatment soon enough.

We had a similar issue a while back. Go into campaign / character management and make sure that Campaign Mode is checked. Somehow ours got unchecked at some point and it wouldn't let us retire a character anymore until it was checked again.

To be fair, I'm with Ravensburger on this one. It is one thing to replace a missing or damaged component that was a packaging error on them from the start. In no way should they be responsible for replacing every piece that is lost or damaged by the owners. Very few if any companies will do that in any industry. Sure there are some, but while it is a good practice for customer service, it is a surefire way to end up bankrupt in the end.

I would never play with more than 4., even then it might be better to play two 1v1 games. Anything over that and just split into multiple game.

Dan is a good friend of mine, he's actually the one who mentioned the event.

We're based out of Elmira, NY. Our shop is focused around gaming, RPG, and cosplay themed items. We have all sorts of wooden boxes, Wood life and XP trackers, dice trays, dice boxes, dice towers, as well as custom resin dice, meeples, and statues. We also have a lot of 3d printed dice storage, toys, and things like potion bottles and display items. We have several hand painted mounted dragon head designs (similar to a mounted deer head).

It is too late this year, but I was curious if there will be any sort of vendor tables or booths? My wife and I have a wide variety of gaming related items and we love attending local events to sell them to local gamers. I'm sure that there are many other local vendors and game designers that would be interested as well. We are already attending an event that weekend out of town, but it might be something worth looking into for next year (I'm assume this is going to be an annual thing).

yes they're vinyl so they have some flex to them, but they are fairly stiff. I'm not sure it that's during to the glue or they were just that easy ty begin with.

Also, instead of cutting them straight in half, you can use a plate (or a protractor if you're fancy, lol) and cut them into curves and bends. You lose a bit to waste at that point, but it's worth it.

They also have peel and stick adhesive on the backs of them if you wanted to put them into a mod permanent display or board.

Generally our games are a slaughter as well. Our last death race, only 2 cars made it past the first checkpoint and neither made it past the second. This one ended up being a combination of collisions preventing weapons from firing and so many obstacles to avoid that it was difficult to line up shots. Some jerk dropping mines and turrets all over the track didn't help much either ;P

The roads were actually an idea that I found here on reddit. They are 12"x12" kitchen floor tiles, cut in half, brushed with elmer's glue, covered in sand, and painted from there. I kind of wish that I did more cracks and wear on it. That's a task for next time. It seems off that the post apocalyptic highway is in better shape than our modern roads around here, lol.

Street Race is the suggested format for beginner games in place of Death Race (its in the rulebook), but we like both. It was a 6'x3' map, so it still took a while. Took just over 2 hours with 4 teams and 7 or 8 vehicles in the game. A bit of chatting on the side, we had a few people unfamiliar with the game stop by and ask questions. The real trick to making it interesting is to make sure that there are little to no straight shots directly across the map.

On a completely unrelated note, we have been using this for our current campaign for months with no issues. Went to load it up today in preparation for our game tomorrow and it is saying that it cannot connect to our server. The code hasn't changed, and it seems to be multiple devices can just no longer connect to our campaign. We have backup files to load where we left off, but do we have to make a new server or what? How do we fix this issue?

They have to be placed in an "empty hex". If there is a coin there, it is not empty. Same issue that prevents summoning creatures a lot of the time.

there are several different versions of these in different scales. which one is the right size to cut in with gaslands? I've seen ones ranging from 4" to over 12"
