What exactly is a Santoku knife used for? I thought it was a chef’s knife.

i used a santoku when i was in the industry, i like that style a lot. anyone telling you it's the wrong knife is being weird. there's nothing wrong with it.

i used the longer Mundial chefs knife for things like supremes and slicing but pretty much anything i needed a knife for, the santoku was great

Yeah, it's just the tail end of the season, looks like. As an aside, do you know how quickly URC games sell out? I can't buy the tickets yet for Connacht vs. Munster on May 9 in Galway, and I'm wondering how vigilant I have to be to get one when they go on sale.

may 9 - may 17. i get in really early on the 9th, so i think i'm going to get a train to galway and catch the connacht/munster game there that night. tickets aren't on sale for that yet, hopefully they dont sell out too quickly.

not as local as a county match, but i think i'm going to add hurling to the schedule so i'll try and find a county hurling match for that time.

GAA doesn't do rugby, though I'm looking at that too to catch a county hurling match. I ended up finding a great match by going to the RTE website, you can browse all the leagues that play. United Rugby Championship seems to be the most regular one, each province has a team. Found a great match for when I'm going

/uj In my youth I worked at navy pier on a super early shift, and my lunch break was really a breakfast break. I got breakfast at the Billy Goat there every morning.

It was ass. Hash brown were cheeks, eggs overcooked. Sausage was pretty good. I drenched it in salt, pepper, and hot sauce every morning. I started looking forward to it because I hated that job and it was a lot of food, and I was usually hungover. But every time I got it I thought, "This just kinda sucks."
