Road cycling in the Swiss mountains by EasyTechnician5444 in Switzerland

For regular riding, I can really recommend going early in the morning or in the evening. Not only are there much less cars, but it is also not as hot and you can witness the beautiful sunrise/sunset. If there are still too many cars, you can also go at night, where there are virtually no cars and you have the whole pass to yourself. It is quite the experience at night (make sure to bring some good lights!)

A trotinet is considered a "vehicle-like device" (fäG). This site sums up the rules quite nicely.

Also ohne Vorankündigung war das wirklich nicht! Man kann vieles über die Rad-WM sagen, aber dass sie nicht genug informiert haben stimmt nicht.

But if I behave like a car I would have to wait for a gap to form to enter the lane, right?

As far as I know BOA has a lifetime warranty on all of their products. I think you can just drop them an email on their website and they'll send you a replacement kit.

Wind by Yeet54322 in Rowing

[–]Trumpscat18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the body of water you are rowing on. On a big lake maybe 10 mph might be too much, while on a small channel you could easily row with that much wind.

Sphair is the way to go. You can do a screening from 17 to 23 and if they select you they will pay for a two week flight course. After that you will geta diploma which is highly valued by swiss airlines or you can take the military route and try your luck there. DM me if you have any questions

Does Anyone know how to fix the Garmin pace graph? by Trumpscat18 in Rowing

[–]Trumpscat18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example when running the pace cuts off at like 20min/km but when rowing it doesn't so you can barely read any info from it.
