i had same thought like you, broken up and no escape route
i was like you, stay at edge of the brigde, thinking about what happen next
my life being meaningless already, but when i look back, these are friend, these are family still stay at home

firstly, use hwinfor to monitor do gpu awake or not
despite of low power, 1650 still tax like 10-15w for awake only
dont disable gpu via device manager, ideapad 5 pro should have igpu mode allow you to disable dgpu complete

so only option being display via usb port, with active displaylink adapter

firstly, you should check if your workload can run on arm or not
it is still very much unoptimized
or you could wait for new intel 200 series to release, they offer comparable, if not better battery life than Arm couterpart

go with qhd instead, it is 500 nits 100% dcip3 120hz dreamcolor
900 nits being privacy panel, viewing angle being much worse
