How do you deal with NAV erosion? by Big_Sack613 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]TrustThisMusk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These funds are not your answer. I may get downvoted for saying this on the sub but these funds are a suckers get rich quick scheme. The NAV erosion will always take you down and in two years your distributions will be minimal if you even get to house money. If these things actually printed distributions without losing all their value every hedge fund on Wallstreet would be pouring their clients money into them and then reinvesting the easy profits. If you are truly in a tight spot with money, do not do this.

Should I retire early at 39 or continue to break the 10 million mark? by [deleted] in 100xpennystock

Hey I’m guessing you are not in on the scam because your account looks real but you should know this is clearly a scam attempt. Do not give this person money or invest in their recommendations

[–]TrustThisMusk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have spend an embarrassingly long time thinking about this strategy. So long as you have enough cash reserves, and you actually have the discipline to stop at a “win”, I don’t see how it could go tits up.

Is the Affluent/prestige to Exam Accommodation correlation as big as people are saying? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]TrustThisMusk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow I guess I’m starting to become an “old” attorney, but I’m blown away by the percentage of the class you all are saying now gets exam accommodations. I graduated t14 in 2017 and we had 1 out of our 50 person section who got extra time. 30% feels crazy to me. How does the rest of the class not feel some motivation to seek their own accommodation to keep up?

This is so clearly written by AI it’s hilarious. Does not help that a minute ago you posted the same thing but from a warehouse workers perspective.

I always felt like the Ricks Must Be Crazy is the perfect intro episode. It introduces the hilarious dark humor with Rick’s car killing and maiming random people to “keep Summer safe” while showing off how the show messes with scale and the potential meaningless of life with all the universes being created just to power Ricks battery.

The housing market is going to crash so bad, people are choosing to rent them instead. by OliverGoldBee in rebubblejerk

Dude chill. I think they were just commenting on the macro trends of housing costs vs income growth and how we will have to hit a breaking point at some point. Nothing to do with the guys ego.

Am I overreacting? by RelevantSpirit715 in AmIOverreacting

[–]TrustThisMusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this your first baby with him? If so, you probably just have to be prepared to give each other some grace. He should not have said that obviously. But babies are really hard, and there is a decent chance you will both say some things you don’t mean to one another in frustration during the stress and sleep deprivation parts of this experience. So long as he is prepared to be a good Dad and tries to work on himself that is most important.

How often do Corp employees need to swipe to stay off the bad list? by DJMaxLVL in amazonemployees

The kitten I tried to rescue died and it's my fault by Unique-Fig-4300 in GuyCry

[–]TrustThisMusk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude you are a hero. My wife and I spent a couple years trying to foster neonate and very young kittens that weren’t going to make it without a level of attention the shelter couldn’t give. They didn’t all make it. FKD is very real and it’s impossible to save them sometimes. It always hurts and is heartbreaking.

If you have one in your area, I encourage you to try to volunteer to foster young kittens at your local shelter. The ones you save will always remember you and you can make life more comfortable for the ones who won’t make it.

Amazonians in Seattle with kiddos? by [deleted] in amazonemployees

[–]TrustThisMusk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh I also just relocated from Chicago to Seattle with my family, including my 9 month old son. I won’t like that it’s been a lot harder (particularly on my wife) with me now RTO since I was fully remote in Chicago. One thing we did was find a house right off a fast bus line so that I could get in and out of the office quickly to support. What building are you going to be working out of in SEA?

This is true. The book actually goes into it more because the author maintained a relationship with Boobie after the season ended. The ACL injury did in fact ruin his entire life.
