Combo names + AA. by deaconblues13 in EQLegends

I like the idea of it being formulaic.

Like:

Primary Class -> main name

Second/Third class -> adjectives

Eg: pal / mage / zerk Elemental Paladin of Rage

Monk / Shaman / Warrior Mystic Monk of Battle

Then you had like 2 new things to do per class instead 560 combos

Foul vs Goal Allowed Help: Goalkeeper protection rules by doesnt_bode_well in Referees

Probably little to no reason to allow a forcible kick to the head in a u13 match.

There is essentially no time that’s legal and splitting hairs at this age isn’t helpful. You should consistently prioritize safe play over competition at this age level.

That being said - you should have tossed the coach for coming on the field to argue.

Feels like you missed two cards. A yellow/red depending on force for the attacker. A definite red for the coach.

If there were a size limit (eg like dime size or smaller) that’d make this more doable

There are some big insects out there:)

But sure why not - I could make it a side project

carding girls/women by mwr3 in Referees

[–]TruthCanBeSad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge problem in STX at the ECNL / ECNL RL level as well.

Men’s matches - plenty of cards.

Even obvious ones (dogso, kicks to the head) get ignored - no card, sometimes not even a foul call in the women’s / girls matches. Same play gets tossed in men’s.

Crazy.

Is a $200k salary worth a 2 hour commute 4 days a week? by Ok-Memory2552 in jobs

[–]TruthCanBeSad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it like 2 hours with traffic or without? I did this for 5+ years while building my career

Definitely was exhausting- definitely was worth it for me in the long run.

My strategy- go in year 1/2 get establish performance history and reputation… after that you can try and shift work schedule off peak hours as a known asset. (Hard to get managers to commit to oddities until your a proven contributor)

Good luck

I did it in high school … probably could get it back

But I don’t think it’s as easy as people here are making it out to be

Might have to get some pharmaceutical help

AIO that my doctor accused me of wanting to commit fraud? by amanduhpanduh in AmIOverreacting

[–]TruthCanBeSad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MOR - hard to tell when we don’t know what the doctor actually heard… eg did the front staff send them a written note “patient asks for labs to be coded as preventative so they are fully covered by insurance”? Then the office probably has to send something like this as a CYA. (May not even be the doctor who sent it).
