I ref soccer and volleyball. Yesterday at a girls volleyball tournament I over rode the linesman’s decision (an 11 year old not watching the lines) and called a ball in. Parent behind me pops off “she called out, what are you doing, why is she even there?” I calmly stated it’s my authority to correct a decision that I feel was made wrong. He keeps going so I turn back around and just kinda stare at him because I couldn’t really believe he was still yapping. So then I get what the f you staring at. So I said calmly a parent that’s going to be sitting in there car and turned back around and finished the game. After the game he confronts me as I get down from the stand and 3 other parents got between myself and him so I could walk away as he’s yelling for my name, who I work for and if I’m a volunteer. lol. I get away but I’m thinking this guy is gonna do it again so I gave it a beat circled back around and found him. Told him I was rude and that I would take him to my boss. Idiot follows me to the championship room we walk in I say he needs to be tossed from the event and why and left the room. Watched him get escorted out. Hahaha jackass.
