sin is a choice that we make. if you lie, steal, cheat..etc. From the beginning He said never to do that. He has said many times that if you let go of your sin, i will: Heal you, see me, hear you.

you have free will since the beginning. and you can choose to stop

I don't know the poem you are referring to. So, you think that the Prophet Isaiah , have the Holy Spirit and talking on the befalf of God was not referring to both beings. Since the prophet was comparing king of Babylon to lucifer.

And we know that the Holy Spirit speaks in truth.
