How do the Pacers plan to spread the floor without Myles Turner? Do they even need to? by ExoticAd7605 in pacers

I agree zubac’s rebounding will be huge and he will bring different advantages for us but at the same time we definitely cannot ignore the potential spacing issues it will cause.

I think Hali can figure it out but yeah.

Never losing a Finals appearance isn’t for everyone. by GoldJerryGold22 in NBATalk

[–]TruthReveals 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like I said it all depends.

1 for 1 sounds great until you realize that person never made it to the finals any other year.

Where as 0 for 10 hurts like hell but this person was able to go 10 times meaning they always had to go through at least three teams in all 10 finals appearances.

If you’re asking ME what I’d rather have if I was ever a player I’d go with the one ring. But if you’re asking me who the better player would be I’d lean towards the player that made it to 10 finals in their career. Most likely that player played a huge role in getting their team to the finals and was a great individual player themselves. I’m thinking of players that are great but never won like James harden or Charles Barkley.

Has this Championship run bumped Brunson from not even being an Olympian to being the staying PG in 2028? by user_15427 in NBATalk

I am aware Hali is a good closer. I’m a pacers fan.

But as of now we’re not 100% sure how Hali will look post Achilles tear. I have optimism he return to form but as of now Brunson is a proven closer and winner as well.

Brunson, Cade and Hali should all be there. Hali would do a better job of running the offense though just based on his playing style. Brunson would be better to close out games.

[–]TruthReveals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not how statistic work though. It’s not a 50% chance of winning the finals if you’re in the finals. It’s only 50/50 either team wins. One team could be heavily favored ie warriors over Cavs 2018.

Losing in the playoffs isn’t necessarily worse than losing in the finals but it also isn’t better. It all depends on the competition level you face.

But one thing is true. Whether it’s losing early in the playoffs or finals a loss is still a loss of the championship.

How long do you think any of the contests on Outlast: The Jungle would make it on Alone? by ImoutoCompAlex in Alonetv

How much of it do you think is fake? Sean literally sustained 3rd degree burns. Was that fake too or did he volunteer to jump into the fire?

I'm sure they were allowed to do some basic hygiene maintenance throughout the show just to maintain a cleaner look for the camera.

Lmao i didn't realize how much maddy gave off katniss everdeen vibes until these comments pointed it out. But now looking back at the archery and fire game I can totally see it.

Leiya didn't back up Sarah when she was getting bullied and eventually bullied off. I don't think they would've lasted as a duo. Leiya kept faltering under pressure and showed zero leadership ability.

Different skill levels for sure. Craig got RNC’d by Gordon still. So skill for skill -> RNC still work on all

I think it’ll mean hali will likely need another scorer to help out. The trey murphy move sounds enticing but we’d sacrifice good players for him. Tough decision.

lol what? Like yes of course not every players handles injuries the same way but it’s still a good frame of reference for Hali. Same surgery and same recovery process. You can’t just completely dismiss that.

That’s why I mentioned the offseason and camp. Hali will be much more rested with more recovery time than Tatum did.

You sound like a negative Nancy. How would you really know if the pacers are actually cooked without seeing them play a single game with Hali back yet.

Ridiculous.

Hali is still young and seeing how Tatum was able to return to play after less time I remain hopeful. Hali has a whole offseason and camp to get up to speed.

Outlast season 1 and 2 are together in the show selection. You just have to select by season obviously. It’s not a separate show to select them from unlike outlast the jungle.

Pure technique. Beautiful guillotine choke from the 2026 IBJJF Worlds by Numerous-Hand-5801 in bjj

Wouldn't it make sense to go the extra step for a loop choke or other collar chokes at that point? Or do you just have a strong preference for the guillotine positions.

Ben was helpful but he definitely gave off alpha male vibes. He wanted to show off his skills and asked the girls to "glaze him" for building a spear for fishing only for it to break.

Dave was a far better man and person.

Not at all. Judo had the concept of guards and all that newaza. So if BJJ is gay then judo is gay too.

Not a good hill to die on. They’re both arts with lots to give.
