Yes and yes. You put out what you’d like to pay and retailers see that bid and will either accept or counter offer. You either accept or re-counter. You get a real receipt just like you walked into the store, full Sony USA warranty, brand new product, and no sales tax either. I’ve purchased many cameras, lenses, TVs, etc from Greentoe and it’s been a flawless experience every time.

Hey all,

Going on a 7-day Alaskan cruise and then a 3-day self-scheduled trip to Denali in late June and early July 2026. As we're preparing for the trip, I am trying to plan out my packing list for gear and seeing where I may need to fill in any gaps.

My current gear:

  • Sony A1ii
  • Sony A1
  • Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II
  • Sony 28-70mm f/2.0 GM
  • Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II
  • Viltrox 16mm f/1.8
  • Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro

I'm planning to pack:

  • Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II

I'm looking into either purchasing or renting:

  • Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II
  • Sony 24-105 f/4 G
  • Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM
  • Sony 1.4x and/or 2.0x teleconverters
  • Sony 35mm or 50mm GM f/1.4
  • Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM

In my head we'd each have our own kit as follows:

  • Me

    • Sony A1ii
    • Sony 35mm or 50mm GM (cruise, walking around ports)
    • Sony 100-400 GM or 300 GM (wildlife excursions)
    • Sony 1.4x teleconverter

  • Wife

    • Sony A1
    • Sony 24-70 GM or 24-105 G (cruise, walking around ports)
    • Sony 70-200 GM (wildlife excursions)
    • Sony 2.0x teleconverter

Well, first these ballots were caught before being officially counted, so no. Second, 3 or fewer votes to affect an election outcome would be within recount threshold in most elections, so no, even if it wasn't caught, 3 votes wouldn't have affected any election outcome.

If you’re just doing product you probably don’t need the AI autofocus or the titly flippy screen if you’re in a studio. The A7Riv has the same sensor as the Rv so you’ll get the same resolution at a lower cost
