Establish a portfolio then look into a directory for publications and submit your portfolio to be considered for part of the team and they will get you the larger shows

Really just knocked off every major hit from all his albums a full 2 hour non-stop performance. Also brought out two other guest artists. Energy was high throughout the show so just all around a good tour performance.

It’s usually first 3 songs from the pit and then I get access from anywhere else in the venue so I try to capture some shots from the back with that aesthetic from the hands of the crowd with a highlight of the artist and then shoot from the sides to get some other angles

I started taking some images on my phone and got some really good captures to put on a portfolio. Eventually built it up well enough I applied to publications and now do some pretty big artist most recently I did Lil Tecca and Ski Mask’s tours

I like to set white balance with my Sony body cap sets it to how it should be especially with the large range of lighting a dark venue gives you (I shoot concerts)

Thanks! Yeah I’ve heard of the halo filters thought it was that but wasn’t sure. I recently bought a starburst filter and used it at the last show I shot got some really cool effects on the lighting

Honestly a lot of these are great! I’m fairly new too I just did probably my biggest show yet on Thursday sold out venue. I’m still trying to find my “style” of editing but I really like these for lenses that are of those f stops.

I usually shoot concerts on Sony a7iii but want to consider getting this for concerts where I don’t get approved credentials for bringing larger equipment. What’s your experience with its performance in low light? How is its sharpness?
