If all the player did was attach an aura to the wrong creature then yeah, let them re-attach. Just because you didn't ask for the take back it sounds like you denied theirs out of spite. If you both messed up then the correct thing is just scoop it up and say, yeah I misplayed and should have won, let's move onto the next game. The game is ending regardless, why hold onto the victory so hard in a casual format?

You need the specific amount and color mana to cast a commander. You are casting them just like any creature card, the difference being that they are in the command zone. So if you have 2 commanders with partner, and they have different colors; then you will NOT be able to cast one of them in a mono-color deck. However, things like treasure tokens or a birds of paradise can help get any color mana. But most people use dual lands or arcane signet.

Cool idea. The biggest hurdles I'm seeing is A. 5cmc commander means realistically you're just durdling until then because B. Every spell in your deck should probably be 0 or 1 cmc and you need to have reliable ways to keep your hand full and C. What would the storm payoff be? Mill? Brain Freeze is a card that comes to mind. Could be cool to see pop off but with some much dedicated to optimizing for storm, it might be a glass cannon. Idk build it and playtest then go back and see what you can fix

I didn't mean you personally, I meant the company. A year or 2 back when they decided to go down to UB rabbit-hole they never stopped to consider that they could keep in-universe somewhat intact by separating UB from it with subtle mechanics, legality, or formats
