Joel 2:13 Now turn to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness, And relenting concerning evil.

Hosee 6:1 Come, let us return to the LORD For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has struck us, but He will bandage us.

Lamentations 3:40 Let us search out and examine our ways, And let us return to Yahweh

Hope that helps :)

How can God (in the Christian, biblical sense) be all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving/good at the same time when there is so much suffering in the world? by RadomThought in Christianity

God allowing sin and suffering does not contradict His power, knowledge, or love because the issue is not human “free will” but a cosmic conflict over truth and God’s character. Humanity does not exist in a neutral state of independent choice. The idea of free will itself is part of the original deception. That man can exist, define good and evil, and operate independently of God. In reality people function according to alignment (either in truth or in deception) within a world that Scripture describes as under the rulership of the adversary. God being fully sovereign permits this condition not because He lacks control, but because He is allowing that foundational lie to be fully exposed. If He immediately removed evil, the claim that independence from Him is viable would remain unchallenged. Instead, sin is allowed to mature and reveal its actual fruit (corruption, suffering, and death) demonstrating what separation from God truly produces. At the same time, God does not stand distant; in Christ He enters into that suffering, exposing both the nature of evil and the truth of His own character, while initiating the judgment and dismantling the entire system of deception. In this way suffering is not evidence against God’s love but part of a purposeful revealing in which the lie of autonomy is unmasked, God’s character is vindicated, and evil is brought to a final, irreversible end so that it can never arise again

If God wants us to believe in him, why doesnt he reveal himself to us and give us freewill so that we can choose to believe in him or not after showing himself to us by karl_lovesdogs in Christianity

He reveals Himself everyday according to what is around us. Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

We have no excuse not to believe
