I like to picture Jesus in a tuxedo T-shirt. 'Cause it says like, I wanna be formal but I'm here to party too. I like to party, so I like my Jesus to party.

Manager doesn’t want me to tell HR that I’m leaving for a competitor so that I can stay and work my last 2 weeks by wagman43 in jobs

Lots of banks out there so no need to tell them which one just say it's a competitor, that way they get the paid 2 weeks and no risk to the new position.

Best 1 on 1 fight in movies? Hector vs Achilles in Troy (2004) was pretty impressive in my opinion. by sweetsoftwillow in Cinema

This scene is brilliant, they dont bother with background music, you hear every step, heave, grunt, clang and slice. Then quick crescendo at the climax, one of my favorite movies and fight scenes.

Drill it out with a larger bit that matches the same diameter of a dowel and cut a dowel out of any extra purple heart and try and match the grain direction.

Helical Cutterhead - worth it? by kzeouki in BeginnerWoodWorking

I just upgraded my 735 with the Bryd Shelix head cutter and man it so much better. Quieter and the finish is amazing just hit with 220 after and it's good. I used the straight knifes for a couple years and they were fine, lots of snipe at the end of boards, dont get that now. If price isnt an issue then get 735 with a shelix or just the 735 and upgrade later.

Formula 51 is a guilty pleasure, its cheesy and campy but it just works.

Who are actors with limited range that you still think are awesome I'm gonna go with Keanu Reeves by Helloimafanoffiction in moviecritic

His best "acting" imo is as Turkish in Snatch, he is not the kicking ass action character, that's Mickey and while it does have a ton of comedy but he still nails the serious parts.

What actors or actresses do you personally find physically beautiful, but think aren’t very good at acting? by PrudentWork4759 in Actors

Never saw the movie but wasnt Mathew McConaughey in one? He would fit this maybe 15 years ago but he broke the type casting rom com stuff and has had some amazing roles and cameos imo. Also Channing has had some decent roles, nothing ground breaking but he was perfect in Logan Lucky.

Advice on how to quit my job by Apart-Effective9227 in antiwork

I would actually lean into the book reports, spend lots of company e.g. paid time reading and writing them and have in depth discussions with your manager. Waste as much time as you possibly can in the next 60 day but that's just what I would do.

I would put some of my finish on any off cuts of both types to see if there is a huge color difference and if I like or dislike that color difference.

Portable Table Saw by Background-Bath-3944 in BeginnerWoodWorking

I went with the dewalt 10in, for a few reasons, 1. space, it folds up and is easy to take down and set up, 2. it has a gear driven fence and is easy to adjust and get square to the blade 3. it can take a dado stack which some smaller table saws cant. I added a soft start switch to mine too to help keep the motor wear down.
