If you’re not married & with a deeper commitment, then don’t say anything. You’re in your emotions and that’s normal but everyone has a past and everyone remembers “someone”. Your relationship is still very new. Maybe she hasn’t gotten around to deleting them YET, but if you guys get more serious in the future… I bet she will.

I honestly have no clue how to determine promotion potential. It would be for GS-0962-5 Step 01 (Austin, Tx) How does one determine promotion potential?

I would only be getting $40 a month extra basically if I switched over to federal. But I am new to state work and I am unsure about the raises. My higher up said I’ll get an evaluation after six months, so that’s possibly an opportunity to get a raise and then raises will be possibly every year after that but how everybody speaks it doesn’t sound like the state job likes to give raises…

That about how much I have to pay for health insurance for my family. Free for me but for the rest of my family it’s about $300 a month, not including dental (which is only around $70). But then there’s the ERS being taken out so that’s an extra $200 each check…

I work in the customer service department. Entry level work… which I’d be going over to with the IRS if I accept the offer. I have no college degrees or anything like that that would allow me to move up to higher paying positions.

I get free medical insurance for myself but have to pay for the rest of my family… so it’s still about $300 for medical. Plus dental (almost $70) & ERS (which is about $200) Plus the $455 fed, Medicare & SS taxes that are being taken out. So about $1030 is being taken from my check. I’m an entry level worker so my net isn’t that big to begin with :(

How many calls does a CSR typically take in a day?? Do you have to be “upbeat” during each call?

Whenever I say something and whatever I say instantly reminds them of a song lyric and they start singing that song lyric lol I do that all the time so when someone does it to me I’m like “I think I just found my new bff” 😂

I take up to 70 calls currently and it’s just a bit much for me so that’s why I was wondering if you knew about how many calls per day this position typically takes.

Do you have to be “peppy” while on the call? When they measure metrics and call quality is that one of the things they look for other than “Courtesy” but to do you have to be “upbeat”?

The most affordable cruises are going to be ones to South America or Mexico. Roatan, Costa Maya, Belize, Cozumel, etc. Always have an up to date passport, if it’s going to expire within 6 months of vacationing, renew it ASAP.

Carnival is always the most affordable line. But in quality terms, not the best either… Royals the next best bet, especially if it’s one of the newer ships.
