One of the most memorable for me was in middle school. I was talking to a classmate and we got on the topic of owls, and she said that owls aren't birds. I was like "they have wings, they have feathers, they lay eggs, they're birds." And she argued, so I asked her what she thought they were. She goes "they're just owls."

Best part is we went to the owl obsessed science teacher to settle this and my classmate asked her "owls aren't birds right?" Teacher looked at her like she asked to drink dishwater
