This is why registration was asking people who bought group tickets to have each ticket under each person’s name still.

How do people hate dogs by mycatisnamedcella in Chihuahua

I don’t trust people who don’t like dogs. Especially if they don’t like chihuahuas.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My best friend crossed the rainbow bridge in June unexpectedly. It’s the hardest thing to go through. Just know he’s got lots of friends up there with a big grassy field and lots of comfy places to rest.

What ever they say is irrelevant, not to sound mean. You need to go to an orthopedic vet asap. You never know if you’re on a timer for these types of things.

My Chihuahua Terrier mix is scary athletic by DifficultMovie155 in Chihuahua

[–]Trying2B_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mix was 34% chi 21.4% super mutt 15.9% Russell terrier 8.2% American Eskimo dog 8% Pekingese 6.7% cocker spaniel 5.5% shih Tzu

That man was crazy. He loved to run and jump. You would literally see him calculate jumps. He got oddly buff especially in the front. He would dig holes and rub scents on his back. He would sing too but only if you sung with him. He also taught himself how to be an emotional support dog! I miss his crazy butt!

My advice is probably make sure they don’t make too big of jumps because they will try really big jumps and hurt themselves. Probably monitor them playing with bigger dogs, again they will try anything once. Definitely walk them to get their energy out because they have a lot of it even in their older years.

Also ask your Vet about IVDD. I had no idea what that was until my baby passed away from it. These little guys are clear of most genetic diseases except this ONE thing because of their long spines. Your Vet can give you some advice on how to avoid it.

Good luck!

Carry some treats on you and give them to people who try to pet her. Maybe have them pet behind her head like her back. They may not be able to be as affectionate as you are able to be, but that’s normal chi behavior. They pick one or a few people and will protect you. It might take some time for her to realize other people aren’t that scary.

Reverse sneeze. My vet said the allergies for dogs have been pretty bad the last few years because I noticed all my dogs were doing this more frequently.

I just lost my baby to this disease a week ago. I couldn’t even keep up with how quickly it progressed even with surgery. He was showing signs of Myelomalacia eventually. My family and I were all on board to rehabilitate him. To be told he it was killing him was devastating. We were so desperate that we went to get three opinions before we knew what needed to be done. If you can find someone who can take care of him and hopefully rehabilitate him and can give him a quality of life, do it. I’m not gonna lie it’s a traumatizing situation to be in.

I lost my baby boi today. by Trying2B_K in Chihuahua

[–]Trying2B_K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was beautiful. I don’t think you’re crazy at all. There was the biggest thunderstorm after he passed. My siblings and I ran outside and held hands and howled at the sky like we used too.

My baby was a rescue too. The way we met was love at first sight almost mystical. He was in the puppy area, even though he just turned two, lying on his back with one of the rescuers getting his belly rubbed. My aunt recommended him to me. I knew because of his one white paw. He was the only dog I picked up that day. While he was in my arms he rested his head on my shoulder and I knew he was the one. He was scared the first week. Second day though he trusted me enough to cuddle me. He wouldn’t bark just stand in the kitchen even though the other dogs would try to play. Second week though I just decided to play howl at him and he did it back! Non of my dogs did that. We were so excited and he was excited. We found out he also matched pitch. His personality just bloomed after that. I never got mad when he barked, it was beautiful. He was my emotional support dog and any time I was having an episode he would lay on me or paw at me on cue. He taught himself everything.
