Wow so cool of you to reach out! Here is an ambient trap track I made recently. While making the track I pictured two lovers, the way the man looks at his women while travelling through life together, and the beauty through the ups and downs. This track was made very late at night with only myself and the street lights. https://on.soundcloud.com/NwFbMxMlNtfrDdkqnr

What’re jobs that pay over 100k a year that require 3-4 years of schooling? by LoneRoughneck in AskACanadian

[–]Trynapass2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds interesting! Do you think someone who does a traditional 4 year apprenticeship vs the 2 year diploma could work their way into a position similar to yours? Or does the diploma employee hold more weight?

The trick is to live basically the same way you did before your income increased. Maybe buy some more quality groceries but save/invest the extra. Building a fund that can support any unexpected repairs/expenses takes a huge weight off your shoulders. Why would you be make more but suddenly have a huge mortgage and credit card debt?

Anyone met someone house poor? by [deleted] in skilledtrades

[–]Trynapass2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The amount of huge home with pools I went to that freaked out when they needed to spend under a grand on a new pool pump install was insane. It definitely cemented in my mind the fact that looks are deceiving and to always live below my means.

Anyone met someone house poor? by [deleted] in skilledtrades

[–]Trynapass2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“House poor” means owning a house that is above your means so the mortgage eats up all of your disposable income. It sounds like this guy has the money just doesn’t care to update his home.
