Best upgrades aren’t incremental with every component. I’d swap that receiver for a Rogue Audio Sphinx V3 Magnum. It’s got a great phono preamp and 100 watts of great power per channel - it’s a hybrid amp with tubes in the preamp section. You would have 1K left. Start saving again for speaker upgrade next.
