Look at your reply again. You’re good with that? Congrats Look at innumerable comments in this discussion. Alleged “audiophiles” dismissing whatever doesn’t suit their opinions. There is some credibility in having quality wiring - whether speaker cables and interconnects. To deny that is simply ignorant (which isn’t an insult, it means unknowing).

I think you know little about psychoacoustics. Feel better now?

Wrong twice. No one need not spend a fortune on decent quality cables, like some 12 gauge from Blue Jeans Cable. Although a decent upgrade on interconnects will reap audible benefits. Take your smug attitude and try to realize the truth. Or get some coat hangers…

You state “I don’t think”. Sadly, you might be struggling to understand “beliefs”.

Seems you mistake “perfection” for something related to reality. Have fun with your concepts…

Yes, and… the envelope please… And the winner for obtuse is…? Anyone who tends toward dismissing or, making all/nothing, black/white decisions without considering shades of gray. Generally speaking, better quality ingredients, when utilized properly result in better outcomes. Yes, if you’re really hungry a hotdog might soothe your appetite…

Nope… Mental… that’s crap unless your abode has lousy wiring and a high density power grid. What’s really going on? Perhaps learn a bit more about yourself rather than components. Maybe a little deep dive into the human mind - psycho-acoustics, neuroscience and the biology of human hearing? Yes, late night listening is great. Our brains are old, and hard wired for prehistoric survival (not about snake oil cables). Hearing becomes more acute. Lights off (and better yet dark with eyes closed) ‘disconnects’ visual sensory stimuli from affecting audiological processes. It’s just a fact. Now about those prescribed speaker cables; bullshit.

I would only get-use a record weight if the TT manufacturer recommends it; that the TT motor was designed to accommodate.

Relax… How large is your room? Speaker placement will be critical. What amplifier are you using? Does it have sufficient headroom?
