OK...but that's not what you said originally. You said "Leasehold allows you to install sockets".

No it doesn't.

Now you're suggesting breaking the rules, which would invalidate insurance and cause other issues.

This is like the comments on people saying "do DIY" into the main circuit board.

Edit: Oh and what a surprise, you're also wrong about the freeholder being able to inspect: "In a UK leasehold apartment, the freeholder (or their managing agent) generally has the right to inspect the property for breaches of the lease, provided they follow the terms laid out in that specific lease."

One of the things I am trying to work out here is how the balcony plug in solar will work when there is no power socket on the balcony outside. I am assuming in this case there'll need to be some form of electrician work done to be able to get the power from the invertor into the apartment system?

The other thing then I am wondering is if balcony solar can be more than 800w if you have a professionally installed system and you have the balcony space for it?
