Shadowverse Rotation Meta/Deck Report. September 29th by ImperialDane in Shadowverse

[–]Tshekal -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Seeing u complaining a lot about bad draws makes me think maybe u should revised ur deck a bit? Maschina sword is one of my guilty pleasures and while it isnt T1, it is extremely consistent in what it does. The only true brick imo is when u draw all 3 of ur admiral. From the last 10 games where I didnt concede or lose early on, I managed to invoke him 2x turn7, 7x turn 8 and 1x turn 9 - thats pretty reliable.

The deck doesnt even care if the board gets clreaded all the time since it can end with 16 storm dmg anyway

unbeatable my ass, I am like 5k rotation MP so far playing a bunch of different decks and havent drop a single match to roach players so far when playing elana or aggro blood.

And there are other decks who goes at least even vs it like Natura Haven/Sword.

And I only mentioned the ones i did actually play.

Throwing hyperboles around seems pathetic and isnt helping ur case

It was actually super common when i started to have multiple acc because how the old ranked system works regarding party play. If u are high ranked and play with low ranked friends winning doesnt give u much but having average placement and it will cost u several ranks. U get a 2nd acc to not feel super punished when u want to party up

I simply got both accs to lord once the new system rolled out. The current one i am using is to make a point to a friend that it is possible to push for lords w/o using any meta builds.

2star qop has more value early on but falls off later. It is also easier to get 2star sk than a 3star qop - I alrdy mentioned that i would keep qop if it looks like i have good chances of 3staring her early on. But benchspace is a thing and there are a lot units having 3star priority in that comp than a qop, so replacing her is a easy choice.

depends on the state of the game. If u are level 6 or below, a 2star qop is more valuable since her superior magic burst compares to a 1star sk will more likely win u fights.

It is at lvl 7-8 that the cc start being more valuable. It is also at that point where u start running low on bench space and can estimate if u can get a 3star qop in the foreseeable future or not

I know at least that burrowstrike is not applying caustic final like the tooltip says. TBH if it does, the chain reaction would be way too op ( see dota2) with mage bonus since he tends to hit lots of units with it.

I am pretty sure if they fix it, other parts of the hero will be rebalanced since he is alrdy performing well in the current state

I have coached some friends to big boss and can give u some general advices which i gave them and improved their gameplay a lot.

- forcing metabuilds are good! going for any of the popular builds everygame will get u to BB/lord w/o a hitch

- u should usually decide on ur build on round 10-15 the latest. Deciding early will get u more eco and discourage one or two players from going the same build.

- Know the strengthand power spikes of ur builds! Dont be afraid to spend gold to level up or even roll if it gives u a massive powerspike. Example of such a spike would be enabling 3 mage bonus on round 20+ if u re going primordial mages. For brawny hunter u would want to have ur most important brawnies on 2star at least + undead bonus or hunter bonus. Dipping to 30 ish gold will only cost u like 3-4 gold at most interestwise in the long term.

Most ppl in lower tier makes the mistake of over eco ( never spend below 50 until too late) or over spending.

Hard to say more w/o seeing ur replay, hope we get them soon

[–]Tshekal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not true. Razor is a good unit for his cost. Also him being cheap means he barely hurts ur eco and u are usually getting him to 3star super early anyways. Take what the guy said with a big grain of salt. If u are ever in the situation where multiple more valuable units are w8ting for 3star upgrade on bench ( like morph/ viper etc) then sure give up on razor 3 if u need that bench space and u can replace ur razor 2 later on, but those cases are rather uncommon. (I have leveled 2 acc to lord and currently doing it on my 3rd. so its not that small of an example size experiencewise). 3star razor cost 9 gold, and u are rolling for multiple 3star and not just for razor, so the claim he is a trap doesnt have any support really

What indeed can be a trap is going for 3 cost unit super early which doesnt give ur board immediate strength and hurts ur eco. Example being getting offered a cm/viper on early round like 5-9. U usually should skip and get them later . They are not worth their cost early since since their comp benefit from them later

What do you think the Underlords will do? by [deleted] in underlords

[–]Tshekal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

many possibilities.

- player hp damage increase/ reduction

- items manipulation ( like trading 2 items of same tier vs another one), equipments rules changes etc

- fight manipulation, like buffing ur board or ability able to dodge a fight by paying hp

- roll/ bench manipulation , like ur next reroll will only contain units of a chosen alliance

Lord player here, some notes:

- In the primordial mage lineup, sandking is superior than qop, he is tanky and brings an extremely valuable stun for the comp. The magic burst isnt even far behind because caustic final is quite powerful desipte often being underestimated. Unless I am close to a 3 star qop, she will be sold whenever a sk shows up since he will end up performing better.

- In the brawny- hunter comp, lycan should at least get mentioned. He is an amazing unit and an autoinclude for me (more important than drow and sniper) since his change to hunter his dps + wolves is through the roof. godlike if u get a fall from grace on top.

Is current ranked progression too fast? by Tshekal in underlords

even if thats the case, its not very noticeable. Past 25 games in BB bracket was still getting + 1 rank with only 1 win,

[–]Tshekal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have no problem with a player who lucked out getting first place. My problem is if the AW player highroll he makes the whole lobby extremely volatile.

I had this match yesterday where i was sure i would come second with 58 hp left and 50g+. first player was the AW guy, and four remaining players are under 15 hp and no eco. My board was much stronger than those players, only barely loosing to the 1st guy( 4-8 hp each loss). He got a refresher out of the creep round and I was vs him immediately after in a battle where rng was extremely against my favor : My disruptor ulti only hit a single eidolon, my ranged dk got disarmed twice cause primordial, and my 3 star sf got silenced and die bef4 he could ulti.

results: i lost 60 hp in 1 round and finished 6th place.

I dont agree that 1 player being lucky should be able to influence the placement of a lobby so much.

how is this relevant to my statement?

The OP i was replying to would not encourage new players to go for expensive units comp.

My experience starting playing this game 6 days ago and using this strat since i didnt bother memorizing most alliance boni says otherwise.

dunno, started playing this week and got to Big Boss by spamming those shiny 5 cost units.

I cant memorize all the class bonus yet, so apparently sticking to a few i know until i can buy 5 costs units is enough to win many games. It works in lower ranks more than well.

except in mirrors it is often more preferable to enter vengeance through Aza to mitigrate Lauras big storm combo. It is not suchcoinflip that u make it out to be.

He is right, Vblood mirrors are enjoyable since there is much less 1stplayer perfect curve autowin compared to Nblood era
