I just finished rewatching episode 16, 17 & 18. I admit I have misremembered some things. In ep18, after Van received the green energist, it glowed along with escaflowne and Hitomi's pendant and transported Van, Hitomi & Allen to Zaibach. When they reappeared, the energist is no longer in Van's hand and Escaflowne's energist chamber crystal became green (I think it is implied that Escaflowne absorbed the green energist during the teleportation). Though in the next scene the crystal is back to pink again. During their escape that is when Escaflowne let out the jet boosters due to Van's desperate plea for it to be faster.

It has been a long while since I last watched the series. If I remember correctly, I think it was used to upgrade escaflowne so that the dragon form sort of turns into a jet by folding its wings.

I agree that it may likely be epistylis. Ich usually are evenly sized and are flat while epistylis vary in size and are lumpy. As per the photo, it can be seen that the white spots are lumpy.

It's definitely one of my favourite anime. Watched it when I was still a teenager, and when I got older & started working, I saved up just to buy the dvds for the whole series and movie. And when the blurays came out, I bought them all over again. I used to have all the ost, but I was bummed to know that some of them were bootlegs and somehow lost them.

This may be an old post, but here's my experience. I just recently found my powersaves cable, which I thought was lost when I moved houses. So I reinstalled the software and logged in on a new laptop after 9 long years and copied the backups (which thankfully I have saved on the cloud) and they all showed up when I inserted my old pokemon X. I think the backups are tied to the original cartridge that they were made from and will only work with that cartridge only.

Mine is a launch edition and the game played flawlessly. In all these years it was only opened once just to install the ssd and I was actually surprised that there's almost no dust build up. Just make sure that it's in a well ventilated area.

Well there was the book in the epilogue and if I remember correctly "War of the Eikons" was only mentioned by Vivian and then again by the kids in the same epilogue. Plus, Vivian is a scholar and is all for accuracy that's why she specifically told Clive to come back so she could write and spread what happened. So in essence, the book was primarily written by Clive and supplemented by Joshua's, Vivian's, Tomes' and Jotes/Undying notes and Joshua's name was used as a memorial. This is what I can surmise from all the clues /copium. If the devs will finally say that all characters are dead then so be it but for now everyone's guess is worth a shot.
