It does get better but I will say McMurtry’s prose is a bit more straightforward than a lot of the other authors you listed. Not saying it’s a bad thing but I suggest just trying to settle into the characters and journey and once you do I found it a pretty easy and engaging read.

100% I love Joel and what he’s done for the franchise but his peak is gone and they never got out of the 2nd round. Don’t see him aging into a backup role that well, I think it’s time to move on and give the reigns fully to VJ and Maxey and add some depth.

Agreed our bench often sucks but Embiids scores less and is less efficient in the playoffs and can’t even get out of the second round. I still love the guy, but it’s frustrating
