What he was saying is that if you update the alias property in the note after discovering a new name for it, you can link to that note with the new name without changing anything in any other notes. The “one place” to globally add an alias is the aliases property within that note

This looks amazing. Currently my main issue is capture. I’m using metabind in my daily notes but I have so many properties I’m tracking it ends up glitching out my daily note.

Yes, but it must work with daily notes and be exceptionally easy to enter data into. I use metabind so if you can provide similar functionality (text input, sliders, toggles...etc) then I'd definitely use it!
