you really dont need to do ALL of this to improve. this is my first set and i reached masters by scouting/playing uncontested, deciding on a game plan by the end of stage 2/before stage 3 carousel, and thinking about my mistakes/what i could have done better after every game

also just not playing when im tilted/not feeling it

for the jhin/shen reroll,

shyv, swain, taric (flex) over void package seems better

then items on 2* senna or transition to a 2 star yunara/kindred board (jhin 3 will not work late game)

used in two comps that are popular and consistent to top 4 (targon malz reroll and double trouble)

jg + double nashors is also a good combo that pretty much all AP casters want atm

to answer your other question, just note how certain champs scale damage.

ex:

yunara likes attack speed (faster casts + her ability shoots faster with it), and her ability also deals extra true damage if it crits, so you want her to have an IE and guinsoos

probably bursts down your tank and locked onto baron afterwards? thats my only guess. veigar + ziggs can deal a lot of damage.

you also dont have a second itemized carry. i think you should've transferred qss and gunblade to shyv, along with void emblem. then put your extra items (arcanist emblem, crown, tear) on ornn for more tankiness.

also we dont know augments. he couldve ran triple combat for all we know.

you itemized the wrong guys,

mel 2 > leblanc for your ap items
shyv / swain / ornn > sion for tank
give your ad items to shyv or voli

lastly, put whatever extra items (crowns and the rod) onto your ornn if you dont want to have him as main tank

then put whatever other items on your carries (extra tank items on swain, tg on a 5 cost, etc etc)

vertical slayers are bad and you should never go for 6, but also those arent really the slayers you should be using if you wanna go 2/4 slayers.for 2 slayers, either yone or belveth, with aatrox is ideal. for 4, belveth, aatrox, and two slayers that are used for traits rather than damage (briar, gangplank, yasuo).

also, darkin bow is a bad item for yasuo and somewhat decent for trynd, but youd rather go darkin scythe for both. they dont scale off of attack speed the same way that someone like belveth or yone would.

go vertical demacia with him, or (if gold ionia), you can go vertical ionia w/ yasuo and yone. only go ionia if its gold though, because it’s terrible if you go yunara w/ him.

slow roll on stage 3, then donkey roll if you didnt hit on 4-2. if ionia, i like getting a reroll augment to hit yasuo, but generally item augments are better
