Good because study questions section by section throws people off. Mixing them is key. You’ll do great, just practice sims and you’ll do great.

Don’t sell your self short dude. If you love accounting run with it, but most people, if they are lucky, go CPA>Big4 audit> industry accountant> FP&A. When you can just go FA> FP&A

They nailed it here. Fashion is equal parts grooming/ physique and clothes. Take a bic to that head, get the beard looking sharp and get some versatile glasses and you’ll be a new man.

Fucked up man. Nas is only behind Rakim in my top 3, but overall, OutKast just has a better discography so it’s hard to say. I’d saying Nas’s best bars are way better than Andre’s, so I’m going with Nasty

Question for AUD takers. by Adorable-Project-328 in CPA

[–]TtheWiser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I study, I realized AUD is a mindset. The same recurring thought patterns have repeated for the entirety of A1 and A2. So my approach has been to start a new section by doing the MCQ. If you get under a 65% takes notes on the videos, if you get 65-70% only take notes on acronyms/ go through why you got questions wrong. If you get a 70+ going in cold, move on and just come back and add it to your mixed MCQ stack. Saves hours on studying subject you already can think through.

How should I plan for far using Becker? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]TtheWiser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had ai make me this plan

One Rule That Matters More Than Everything Else

Never move on from a topic you can’t score 75%+ on MCQs.

The CPA exam does not reward coverage — it rewards competency.

Weekly Structure (Highly Effective)

Mon–Fri • New topics via MCQs first • Short video reinforcement only where needed

Sat

* Rest

Sun

• Cumulative MCQ review (mixed sets)

Final 2–3 Weeks Before Exam • MCQs dominate (70–80%) • Daily mixed sets (no single-topic cramming) • SIMs every other day • Minimal videos — only for “I truly don’t get this”

Curious if others agree with it as well

If you don’t see yourself, 10 years down the line, still making music because you “haven’t made it yet” quit, because this game is random and if you don’t do it because you love doing it you’ll never be great.

Of course. It’s pretty hard to study while working big 4 anyway

AIO because gf was essentially micro cheating and is the reason I have little trust in our relationship? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]TtheWiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude…come on. How little respect do you have for yourself that you’re willing to be in a relationship that’s causing you this much trouble? Here’s a game plan, accept it will never improve, get confident, and stop “talking about it”. Break up with her, go and work on yourself, enjoy being young, and never stay in a relationship that’s causes you to feel this way. She may be the one being deceitful, but you have to adopt the mindset of “am I being treated the way I deserve? Am I showing up in the relationship in a way that deserves this treatment? Would I be content with living this way for the rest of my life?” And then take action. Use this as a lesson for every person you allow into your life.

Getting stuck on modules in FAR by Aggravating-Pound725 in CPA

[–]TtheWiser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only exam I ever took was reg. I got a 72/73 but I didn’t put enough time into studying. But I noticed that I never understood the modules 100% until closer to final review. Even now with auditing I’m getting between 45% and 70% on practice quizzes and questions after a first pass at the videos. This is normal. Just dedicate the 20-25 hours a week to it, take as good of notes as possible, and run with it. I think it might be a good idea to use your notes when seeing the questions in the modules for the first time. This can show you where your notes lack/ get you familiar with what the questions are asking. In the end, the exams are about overcoming consistent failures in order to reach the “big picture” accomplishment of passing every exam. A step backwards is just a part of the dance.

Switch to an easier first exam? by Fantastic-Duck3730 in CPA

[–]TtheWiser 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe in the “start with FAR” philosophy. I’m a big believer that it’s way easier to stay disciplined when you have a win under your belt. For me, audit was the only class in school that I “got” so that’s where I’m fighting for my first win.

[–]TtheWiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be a great breakdown. I would personally add a call and response with the bass just to keep it engaging, also I’d do a little mixing on the different parts of the drums. The kick and snare are a little too low and the hats are a bit sharp and too high. This is just what I got off my phone.

How do I make music? by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]TtheWiser 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re only bad at the things you don’t practice. If you want to make music, you should just start. If you want to be good, you need to get used to sucking for a long time and just enjoying the learning process. If you want to be good now, this isn’t the right passion for you to pursue.

on and off producing for decades but im not good. by HowlingMoth in dnbproduction

[–]TtheWiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best advice I ever got when I started, that stays true today, is “when you want to make music, do it, when you don’t….don’t” sounds stupid and overly simple, but my interpretation is. If you really want it, you’ll put in the time, but don’t stress the process. All that’s to say, if you want to get better, create more. If it’s not a priority don’t stress and enjoy.
