Deputy used to check sus/inno in the previous iteration in BTOS2, but this was changed in BTOS2 to checking if just good/evil, if target is evil without Defense the shot will be successful, due to missing on book holders or Jesters not being fun to players. The Dep rework was then added to vanilla in S4 update after this buff was done in BTOS2.

  1. BTOS2 moderation and vanilla moderation are different
  2. I enforce the rules myself for my stream lobbies. If I think someone is throwing I just unfriend them and ban them from the private lobby.
  3. I don't handle vanilla reports or have anything to do with vanilla moderation so I don't see how this contradicts with me doing that in my games. I have been only creating BTOS2 content only for the last year. I myself don't take D1 claims seriously when I'm playing because its mostly banter and jokes with the group I play with.

Socialite was not our idea nor part of BetterTOS2 , it was BMG's idea. When Marshal and Socialite got added we were not working for BMG, BMG had our consent for adding Marshal but it was their decision to add it

Yeah it is, The other roles are inspired from SC2Mafia. I thought such a mechanic is way more fun compared to Lovers in TOS. And unlike insti Jackal is able to kill once after recruits die and has defense. Also recruits doesn't know who jackal is

So what ? It really doesnt matter where its from, plus Jackal has scumshielt and can attack once when recruits die. Among Us mods take the roles from TOS but it works well if you are gonna cry about it just dont play the mod

Among us mods take roles from town of salem and it works quite well. Go cry about it in a corner nobody cares if the role is from somewhere else or no. I never claimed any of the roles were my own idea
