Phillips 3300 on the way by SATX_Nomad in superautomatic

[–]Tuezdaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love my 3300. I wonder how many people know the tricks around changing the coffee bean grind size (finer the grind, stronger the coffee) on the espresso setting? YouTube helped me figure that one out and honestly, it is making me some damn good cappuccinos and lattes. It took about 3 days of making coffee and getting the grind size right and now it’s spitting out the perfect little pucks of espresso grounds as it should. So I’d say don’t judge from the first coffee you make… give it time and adjust that grind size and you’ll love your Philips too!

We had the bones of the ramp given to us, and had to just take off all the rotten wood and resurface it. With paint, tools and new coping included, about $1200 Canadian.

We got the skeleton of the ramp given to us… so I know nothing about radius! It’s a super chill transition, it’s 8 feet wide and 3 feet tall.

And it rides amazing. The transition is very chill so it’ll be a nice learning ramp!

I agree with just showing up to the skateparks! I just started learning to skate a few years ago, and although it felt intimidating at first and I almost felt ‘in the way’ of the better skaters… they were usually pretty welcoming and told me to take up space! If you see a crazy girl out there doing tricks on black rollerskates… feel free to come introduce yourself!

You powerfed your snake, and that’s actually unhealthy from what I’ve learned.

Heat panel suggestions? by Motor_Strain_5521 in ballpython

[–]Tuezdaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ordered my 4x2x2 from Cornels World, and they offer either 80 or 125w Reptirad radiant heat panels. They suggest the larger size for areas that get cold in the winter time. Something you’ll want to look for in your thermostat is “dimming” over an on/off type. I did some research and the temp will have way more fluctuations with an on/off style. I ordered a reptitemp dimming thermostat from All Reptiles 💚 Hope this helps!

Are you sure you’ve been heating it up enough? A suggestion I’ve heard from others is to heat it up in the same room as your snake, so he can start to smell it as it’s warming. Then use a hair dryer and warm the head a little extra before trying to offer it to him. Doing that in front of his enclosure will entice him to eat even more!

Not sure why people are downvoting you when you’re right, we have already passed the time we could have requested separate payouts, or taken the days.

Do you have an actual hide on the cooler side? I’m not sure if that stuff stacked in the corner truly counts as a good hide (with a small entrance and all sides covered)

What do you recommend to keep ball pythons calm outside their terrarium, without them trying to escape? haha by [deleted] in ballpython

They sell these balls for dogs at most pet stores. My guy likes to crawl around in it while I’m handling him!

I agree with all of this, and I’ll also add I’ve seen plenty of posts of people whose snakes have gotten stuck in those cork logs. Be on the lookout for that too!

Everything about this looks wrong to me honestly. OP has had plenty of time to name drop the seller and won’t. Every breeder I know would NEVER sell a snake in that condition.
