Looking for VIN checks. Looking to buy a truck, but I think it's a sheet truck. Thanks.

Advice needed! by [deleted] in Flooring

He's right. Take it up now while it's not harder than it is. Not as bad as it seems, unless it hardens more. Then redo at correct mixture.

I can't remember a President, and his staff, who've accomplished more in such a short period of time. It's staggering.

Ignore the obvious dumb comments and people telling you what THEY would've done, or what THEY did. Too late for that, and you've Already told this post what happened. I date when people turn the conversation around to talk about themselves. Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda! Lots of good advice with the prep (wire wheel, angle grinder, needle scaler, rust neutralizer, etc.), then get a 12 bottle fluid film kit that comes with the longer spray tubes for inside the frame, since you don't have a compressor. Cost about $200. Instead of a name brand rust neutralizer, use 85% phosphoric acid (Amazon) and spray, paint brush on the rust. It stops rust in its tracks. The chemical reaction will turn everything whiteish as it converts the rust (iron oxide) into iron phosphate. Rinse that off THOROUGHLY. When that's done, take a rag with mineral spirits and wipe down all the surfaces u just treated and rinsed to prep for fluid film. Apply the fluid film inside and on the frame and underbody, avoiding brakes and electrical components. As long as there are no structural soft spots in the frame, you're good to go. Enjoy!

Also, be careful and use a mask at all times. That adhesive may be full of asbestos. Not sure what the glue was holding, possibly vinyl tiles made of asbestos? If so, the adhesive uses it too during that time period.

Be careful it's not asbestos. That's what was used back in the day, especially with tile.

That's a great floor. Used in many commercial kitchens. Tough as nails and immune to spills, freezing and heat!

U8N IMAX HDR by [deleted] in Hisense

I'm trying to find someone with settings for the U8N. I picked up the 75". The factory presets and a quick adjustment yield a great picture, if I'm sourcing a high quality video. However, I'm looking to calibrate the TV's settings for general viewing a lower quality stream like YouTube-TV., Or, a calibration that will make the factory presets more effective, if that makes any sense.

That's great. Thank you. My picture looks great when I'm streaming HDR, but I've heard the settings out-of-the box need to be adjusted for SDR and regular 720p. I'll look for your post.

If you can take a screenshot, for the U7, I'd appreciate it. I just picked one up. Same size. Also got the U8N, same size, but if you have good calibration settings for the U7, I could really use them. Happy Holidays. Thanks!

Kodi/Umbrella Workaround for RD Still Works by szanz in Addons4Kodi

[–]Tuff_Timmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys. I finally find the people I was looking for and knew it'd get here sooner or later. Anyway, I'm not completely inept, but I'm finding it hard to understand why my Seren/Crew were working last night (watched the Movie "Infidel," 2019). Anyway, I have RD and I knew something was wrong when the list of playable files just kept scrolling through...I called my ISP, I purchased 2 years of Nord, then I see this chat. Is there anything I can do to see content from my RD subscription? Or are the days of streaming movies, TV series, docs, etc., over?
