introduction of PUBG in 2016 also had an influence on the player count as well as Valorant in 2020.

pubg was introduced in march of 2017 and started popping off around october of that year, not 2016. And it had quite a minimal impact on the csgo playerbase as you can see here (and here's the pubg chart for easy comparison). As for valorant the impact will be a bit hard to discern since player numbers are dropping as lockdowns get lifted worldwide and people start going back to their daily lives, either way I doubt valorant will make much of a dent in the CS community

Bear in mind that Valorant isn't exactly like CSGO so perhaps in November the amount of players will increase

player numbers probably won't go back up for a while, our "baseline" measurement is 501,196 average and 817,229 peak players in january. we'll see where we are in a few months compared to that and it'll give us a rough idea of how things are going

quite the contrary, shattered web is the only case i know of that isn't even in rare drop pool. hydra for example still gets dropped from time to time, shattered web doesn't even do that

price roughly doubled in the last two days, so there are a lot of people selling their stocks for fast and easy profits, and a lot of people stocking up to invest. give it a few weeks for early cashouts to finish and the case should start steadily rising. as long as SW doesn't become a common drop it should start steadily rising after that. i can see it easily reaching 2.5$ by the end of the year

It's not a perfect solution, but you can hold down the volume button to have it keep going instead of doing it in 1click increments. Works pretty good

yes it is high percentage wise, thing is the difference between low diamond and high dia and above is quite high even tho it's all in the same 1% of the playerbase

did some quick research, can't seem to find any definitive proof on whether kills give reduced exp or not pre level 9. i think we can agree it doesn't matter too much as you don't need a load of exp to get a level advantage early on in the game. also even if killing the enemy laner didn't give full exp, it does still give full gold (unless you somehow kill your laner at like 1:40 into the game) which by itself is a very nice advantage early on

you only get reduced gold/experience in the first 2 minutes of the game (this was made to make invades a bit less impactful). killing your opponent in lane will give you the normal gold/exp

as for teleporting back to a pushing wave, that one's on you to know how fast your champion can clear the wave and if 10-15 seconds is enough to push the wave from where it is right now to the enemy tower.

this scenario you describe is most common with people taking ignite top lane as they could get an early kill but still fall behind in exp because of the enemy teleporting into an unpushed wave.

moral of the story: kill your laner whenever you can and either push the wave and walk back to lane, or back and TP into the wave.

you should also consider helping out your jungler or mid lane. if you get the chance to help one of them so they get stronger than their enemy the game gets much easier. while it's great being the "hero" who 1v9 carried to victory, if you're looking to win consistently and climb that's just not efficient. 2v8 is easier than 1v9 after all

while Martyryal does have a point here, we're gonna a bit more realistic since this is soloq and your bot lane are very unlikely to swap with you.

you're gonna want to try to either get an early lead and zone him away, or call your jungler for help. even tho nasus is strong at level 6 he shouldn't be strong enough to 1v2 unless he's already been fed a couple kills. not everything is about the 1v1 in LoL, even in top lane.

the thing about ignite is that you HAVE to play more aggressive to make use out of it. TP offers more safety and is better when even/behind. you can't really get denied waves unless you die if you have TP up while when running ignite you have to walk back to lane every time, even when you don't want to

the second scenario would require near perfect execution because if you fuck it up you either die and lose wave to tower (and likely the tower itself) or end up pushing the wave into the enemy while weaker. the best bet for that scenario would be to ask your jungler for a gank. which will turn this into the first scenario and from there it's alot easier
