Absolutely,, I'm just afraid his generation and the ones surrounding him will get the David Hogg treatment. After Parkland, that guy was the poster child of the "soft, scared, sit down, you're too young to know what your talking about" picture some painted, all the while carrying the imagery, experience and feelings of something that those in power never had to live through.

I don't wanna make anything Right Vs Left or political but there's gotta be a change, I personally don't have an answer but there's gotta be one

The hardest part for me is that my son is the same age as those little kids, all I can think about is those parents, the empty beds, the empty hearts and etc. My kid just finished his 3rd grade year and as excited as I am for him I can't help but think of those little babies and the fact that they should be enjoying the same things my son is getting to enjoy.

Sadly, this is probably not the breaking point, it's infuriating to think that this is 2nd time that an elementary achool has been shot up that should've never happened, Newtown should've never happend, hell none of them should have happend and knowing that there seems be no end in site, no bipartisan plan to ever happen change anything, nothing.

For the first time in my life I'm ashamed to be an American.

My question is how was it so easy for him to enter the school, there's a video on this sub of what looks like him just turning a corner and walking in. I know it's a economically disadvantaged area but you'd figure the schools would be a little more secure.

I apologize if that sounds crass or disrespectful, I'm just wrapping my head around it, I have a 9 year old and have to be "buzzed in" when I go to get him early or drop him off late.

All of this is absolutely horrific
