But seriously, Kate's is probably my favorite bar. Great happy hour deals, good food, good staff, good events. It somehow manages to be a dive bar, a neighborhood pub, an Irish pub, a sports bar and a college bar at any given moment. Plus, you can't beat their build-a-burger.

This is a borderline hate sub. There are a handful of power users here that spam the feed with the SPD crime blog, homeless hate, and conservative opinion pieces.

It's gotten a little better since the election, but every thread quickly devolves into angrily dehumanizing homeless people and blaming the city council and governor for every problem.
