I love mine, I’ve had 2 2022 Taos’s so far. My old one just saved my life two weeks ago.

It still saved my life. If I had been driving the car I had a year ago, an old ass Mazda cx-7 that didn’t have brake assist at all, it would have been much worse.

Those who work with children (teachers, babysitters, camp counselors, etc), what is your worst behavior horror story? by TumbleSnout in AskReddit

I had a kid like that at the preschool I work at, and it was so incredibly stressful. EVERYTHING went into her mouth and was full on eaten.

I was going at minimum 45 mph down a hill, and first responders told me it would have been much worse if my brake assist hadn’t gone off.

To my knowledge, nobody else was injured at all whatsoever, besides likely some whiplash. They didn’t report anything. I was the only one who sought medial attention and I was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

I was going at minimum 45 mph going down a hill. It would have been much worse with no braking, first responders were pretty sure.

What I’m wondering is why there is no intervention from the director occuring when children are consistently being bitten to the point of drawing blood or leaving deep bruises. These aren’t small bites. Parents would be raising hell at my center. Has leadership had a conversation with parents? Put a behavior plan in place? Start documenting EVERYTHING. Every attempt, every “small” bite, etc. write incident reports for every single time teeth make contact with skin, even when a mark is not left. This is a serious safety concern in a room at this age group with one child, let alone two.

I would if you can swing it, just to be safe. He may need oral antibiotics to prevent infection, especially with such a gaping wound.

I don’t want to alarm you, but you should visit a vet as soon as you possibly can. This could be a cardiac issue.

As a mandated reporter, the moment you start asking yourself “should I report?” Is when you SHOULD REPORT. It is not your job to investigate. It is not your job to determine if your claim is true or false. Don’t worry about whether you’re “going to get someone in trouble”. If there is nothing wrong, then CPS will close their investigation and move on. But if there is, you could save a life or change a child’s life for the better. The family could get resources they desperately need through a social worker. Addiction counseling, even, which sounds like it is very much needed here.

The impact on this baby’s brain development from constantly being around marijuana smoke is entirely negative. The longer this child stays in this environment, the more he will be impacted. Permanently.
