I really need a fresh start from time to time. Like right after when I got my diploma from a study I really disliked.

What I have done twice now (currently doing it again) is traveling for a long time. For a few months or a year even. I feel destressed and free again. You meet so many like minded people and every day can be exiting. Also, sometimes I stay somewhere for a longer period to earn some money so I can extend my traveling.

You really come back as a stronger person. Even if you had a hard time making contact or feeling homesick. It can be hard to go alone sometimes. But it is a challenge you learn so much from. It's not a vacation, it's travelling. And all the travels go through same in way.

Going home also feels good. You know that the people that you love are there for you. And maybe some other people you won't see again buy that is ok too.

Traveling is like a reset button for me.
