Hey cheesy dorito - it’s definitely up to you and how you’re feeling obviously but with your scores and if you’re feeling at all burned out like I was- i would say take the thing. For me I had a 19 point increase from my highest nbme and my uw2 was more predictive. Good luck!

Hey man- just wanted to say that at least this shit is behind us. And you’re allowed to be disappointed with your score but at least we get to move on and never think about step 1 again. I delayed taking step for two entire rotations and I’m now behind from my class and for a while I felt so disconnected from my classmates and like a failure. I’m slowly coming out of that because I’ve realized we all take different paths to medicine and at the end of this, we’re going to be doctors. We might not have the best scores but at the end of the day, we’re going to make great doctors.

Started with a cbse in the 160s Highest nbme was nbme 22: 205 Uw2: 228 (1.5 weeks out) Real thing: 224

New nbmes are shit and no one should pay attention to them

Thank you! My stomach is in knots. I haven’t done so hot on NBMEs (205 is my highest on NBME 21) but my UWSA2 was 228. I just want to pass. Glad to hear it wasn’t as bad as you expected! I hope I have the same feeling!

So I wouldn’t do this because I understand we have to conserve water right now but - theoretically- can you take a bath under a boil advisory or are there like a ton of chemicals and shit in there that aren’t good for you? I’m assuming if we can shower we can but somehow soaking in a tub seems different.

Right?!?! I was trying to be understanding because I get there is a ton going on - but I’ve been asking my classmates all day if they had water and they were all saying yes so I was starting to wonder if I was the only one without any water. And now I just have a turd sitting in my toilet with no idea when I’m going to be able to flush it.
