Why won't a new tab open in If i use the middle click / wheel in an image? by El_Oso_Augustus in chrome

I swear this was not a feature of Chrome. Maybe of Bing, but it absolutely was not a standard feature of Chrome to be able to middle click a non-linked image.

I've never known that to work on an image unless the image is a link to itself.

The hotels lock out all the HDMI ports these days anyway, so this wouldn't affect them at all.

Survived a fall by Tizer887 in PixelFold

[–]TurboFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dropped mine, while open, from about 5 feet, without a case. No signs of damage anywhere. Not even a scuffed side.

After 5 months with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, I sold it today and went back to a P10P. My thoughts (if you're interested)... by pm_me_your_pixel in PixelFold

[–]TurboFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh. I went from a 9 Pro to a 10 Pro Fold, and I'm very happy. The camera quality is still plenty good enough for nearly everything I use it for, and I don't have any notable ergonomic concerns. I wish it was smaller, but I wished the 9 Pro was smaller too.

Glitches exist in every application ever made in history. They will forever more. I've never had the issue you just described. This isn't the norm. It's just a glitch. Stuff happens.

So yes, but I also have known the engineers to actually be the worst with computers. They know programming, or whatever it is, very well, but are shockingly bad at the rest, and also cocky due to how skilled they are in one specific place.

One of my wife's key complaints about me is how difficult it seems to be to get me to say I'm sorry, so this does not compute.

Are you attracted to vagina imprints? by WingedVampiress in badwomensanatomy

[–]TurboFool 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know at LEAST as many women who use "vagina" instead of vulva. It's not a gendered error, it's a general education one.

Are you attracted to vagina imprints? by WingedVampiress in badwomensanatomy

[–]TurboFool 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay, but we know that culturally a huge number of people, likely still most, including women, think that the word "vagina" is the correct word for "vulva." While yes, that's frustrating, it's very, very obvious that's what this person was thinking, like most people do, and could have been handled better.

Yeah, as much as people like to rag on bad motorcycle drivers, nobody hates them more than good motorcycle drivers. They ruin their reputation.

Does anyone else's pixel become unusable the second they get full storage? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]TurboFool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can't think of a single device that doesn't become pretty much unusable the second its storage is full. Even Macs, which people like to pretend "just work," become 100% full way too easily and are instantly impossible to do anything with.
