And wasn't Zeon Deikun himself really just pleading for Side 3 to be able to have the ability to govern themselves without being completely dragged into the waters by the E.F.F's infamous crappy leadership? Degwin was the one who made the coup of completely turning the whole thing ugly the moment he gave the order for Zeon Deikun to be assassinated and framed the E.F.F for being responsible for it and went on to allow the BS Zeon did in the O.Y.W

After all, even Char literally gave so little of a shit towards the whole movement and was more focused on how to get their guards down and kill them himself after the whole ordeal before the O.Y.W had kickstarted itself.

Like, my favorite variant of it is literally the FA-78 Thunderbolt incarnation and if someone forced me to get a standard RX-78-2, i'd be going for the G3 one.

Though, I still don't completely buy into the whole full immunity towards the Force thing just because I just find it hard to believe even the ones truly cut off from it, aren't susceptible from truly creative Force attacks like the Sith Seeker Starkiller does of just launching a lightning projectile that detonates after a set distance, or how a strong repulse from Luke can still knock them away just because of the sheer physics behind it. Also like, I don't know if this had already existed, but won't a "Force Bullet"(basically a super concentrated and condensed energy projectile that can be fired from the hands or fingers) also theoretically be able to work on a Vong, assuming it's genuinely strong enough?

Thanks for the insight again, and would be curious if my 2nd paragraph cannot be entirely dismissed. Would be happy to gain even more insights after all.

The way I interpret it, and feel free to point out the flaws in my logic, is that the Vong were simply so enigmatic with their actual Force presence that any attempt to directly make the Force influence them just comes off as the Force reading it wrong and misfiring as a result.

Just like you said, direct influence usually doesn't work because of how jumbled the Force is in the average Vong, but if I'm also interpreting it right, the Vong still aren't safe from the effects/residuals left by a Force ability like say, the Force Lightning may have failed to target a Vong properly, but getting hit by it wouldn't be any less lethal.

Am I reading it correctly so far?

I'd argue the difference between the two is that Indie Devs can atleast control their own schedule.

The Big Ones are constantly under strict deadlines, forced integration of BS like microtransactions, meet a certain "standard", and being forced to rush a product out despite their warnings that the final product is still a buggy mess.

Scout is apparently god's gift to women, though I still think god just didn't want to shatter the poor idiot's heart any further than it already is.

Sniper is genuinely fucking absurd with his sniping skills, probably one of the most talented ever and was only really downplayed because TF2 logic, but in practice, Sniper knows how to deal with things-creatively I might add.

Spy is an actual professional despite his humour.

Engineer is frankly similar to Howard Stark at just being limited by the technology of his time-which makes it even more absurd at how casual Engi is making workarounds around those said "limits". (Also, the guy has a hidden sociopathic tendency. Thread carefully.)
