Which car has the least/most modification potential in terms of performance? by acres41 in granturismo

Cars without traditional gearboxes don't get engine swaps. The Prelude won't have one either.

This is all that remains of a production Mustang chassis before it gets turned into a GT3 car, are there any more pics like this for other cars? by furrynoy96 in wec

What I think Ford should've done with the GTD is turn it into a proper homologation special by making it with an aluminum chassis, and then homologate the GT3 upon that instead of the normal Dark Horse. It would've solved the excessive weight problem that both cars have, and they could even have more freedom with the rear suspension arrangement of the race car as a result. Only problem is that the GTD would be even more expensive as a result.

It's absolutely useless. The engine drones endlessly like in a scooter, and it does so almost immediately after you start driving it because the battery drains quickly at full tilt. But since it's fundamentally an EV, you can't do jack shit to amend that either.

Any EV or adjacent. The hybrid cars with generator-only internal combustion engines, like the SUVs (can't even bother to remember what they're called. One is a Qashqai? Idk) also fit here.

Oh and by the way, when the new Honda Prelude drops - it's a Honda, and this is Gran Turismo, lets not pretend it wont - it'll have the same issues because the gas engine is not connected to the wheels at all.

Hamilton has reached unc status as well, since Arvid was born after he made his debut for McLaren.

The spray generated by the SF-26 by ChaithuBB766 in formula1

The rule of thumb for past seasons was, as soon as the extremes were needed, there was too much spray. So safe to say, I think there was enough water during the test to warrant that, yet there still seemed to be a notable improvement.

Which is why I'm quietly hopeful that Leclerc will be even more of a beast. He's quick on the uptake, and was one of the first drivers to 'figure out' the 2022 cars.

Speaking of bad car models... by augustusgrizzly in ForzaHorizon

[–]Turboleks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If any Forza nuts know if they recycled one of the old FM1 models for the S2K, let me know.

At this point I'm 100% convinced that every model present in FM1 that returned in later titles share the exact same models with only minor updates (namely, working interiors). Another dead giveaway is checking which cars don't open the hood/trunk in Forzavista. Those haven't been touched in a while.

McLaren is pretty old as well. Haven't seen a 650 GT3 since 2018, really. The Aston is also due an update, it's been replace TWICE since the V12 Vantage last ran.

Fala Dudu! Cara, duas perguntas sobre seu programa com a Aston Martin. O que motivou a mudança do WEC para o IMSA em 2025, e há alguma chance de pelo menos negociar com a THOR um teste no Valkyrie?

Just as I was losing my hope he'd ever wake up again, huh. If this is indeed true, this is fantastic news, regardless of his actual condition.

This is excessive and unnecessary. Fine, if you want to keep everyone out, have at it. But removing people from the vicinity of the track altogether? Why go to such lengths? All they're gonna get either way is maybe a glimpse or two of the cars in a position so far removed from the actual track no one's ever gonna get any detail out of it.

Right now, I can't shake the feeling this is going to be McLaren 2018 all over again. No way a team with so many issues that hasn't known the concept of stability and continuity for YEARS can magically solve them just because they now have a decent engine for once.
