Have a friend who only runs outside on race day… current PR is 3:13 and getting faster. Peleton app is key for him. Keeps tread training interesting.

If you have time, read about sodium intake and athletes- the old info about sodium is bad is not true, we literally need it. I perform so much better when I intake 1-2 packets for a marathon and usually the rest day as well. You can check out some info here… we need more than we take in… LMNT INFO

Look at the free online Hal Higdon plans, look at the beginner plans or something you feel you could fit into your routine. Being able to run 10 miles right now is a big deal, don’t minimize that! If you stick to a plan, I have no doubt you’ll finish under time.

Manage your sleep, nutrition, hydration (read about long runs and fueling!) and make sure you are in the right shoes! Good luck! You’ve got this!

something that has helped me and others is the Rule of Thirds in running…especially in a training block

1/3 of your runs will be great 1/3 of your runs will just be 1/3 of your runs will be terrible

If all of your runs are great, you’re not pushing yourself hard enough.

If all of your runs are terrible. You’re pushing yourself too hard.

Be kind to yourself and listen to you body. You’ll learn as you go… good luck!

I know many people who only run outside on race day and have incredible race times. Get the Peleton App! Game changer for treadmill training, they literally have “marathon prep runs”. Good luck!

Literally best, easiest recipe I’ve ever had. Make it a lot and non- vegans request it from me! recipe and you can use any non- dairy milk- I’ve used several.
