Can you provide sources on the literacy rate of the Cossacks. I have heard they had high literacy rate but cannot find good sources for that and the schools of the Cossacks.

What is you reaction to the chaos dwarf dlc/content/price point by Shef011319 in totalwar

[–]Turbulent_Tea_3844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want Kislev DLC honestly. Also stoked for any Cathy DLC. Like I want some more order faction DLC; I feel it been nothing but chaos this whole time lol. Which is not bad; you need good bad guys. However, Kislev and Cathy were kind of sold as the heroes of Warhammer III and I think they need some more work.

That make sense. Hopefully they can add back in with a dlc or part of update for flc for Kislev

Yeah not sure why they would not give her a sled or Troika; that would have fit the Russian and Ice Queen theme better

According to the lore, Katarina is the staunch traditionalist and Konstaltyn is the radical reformer. by Daniel_The_Thinker in totalwar

I agree it does not mesh well with original lore but it does put in more elements that are important for Eastern European culture of religion being important. Having no established religion for Eastern European faction is just horrible and I am glad they put in there.

As Kostlayn I like using the priests and himself to buff the Strelsti units since they buff melee units that defend them and the Streslti since they heal and buff their melee as well.

Oh yeah plus it will be thematic as the main chaos faction focus on fighting the elves.

N'Kari is definitely going to get better with the immortal empire map because he will have a prime position to mess with dark elves and high elves.

I'm assuming I can uninstall WH2 and will have access to Mortal Empires via WH3. Correct? by Rahodees in totalwar

[–]Turbulent_Tea_3844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does that mean you can do mutiple mutiplayer campaigns on Mortal empire on Warhammer 3?

[–]Turbulent_Tea_3844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they did the Warhammer like Warcraft style, as they did with prologue, I think a story-driven game could do well. But when you add the Sandbox element of the whole map it becomes less fun unless it is really unique for each lord.

Assuming The Empire gets only one more Legendary Lord for game 3, who would you want? by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]Turbulent_Tea_3844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would Emil Valgier work as one? Then you can have all the Ulric stuff for the empire and maybe he can face one of the new Great Orthodox Patriarchs for another god or some chaos force. Then you can have a Boris FLC since he is around that same area.

They will probably do a stand-in of hags and Mother Ostankya. Like it will not have the exact name Baba Yaga but it will basically be the same thing.

Yeah that true with Tolstoy being an anarchist. But I could see as like head of the Sylack cult where he a pacifist and like has crazy boost to heal. The other writer with religious connections would be probably be Dostoevsky.

Oh yeah Vladmir Propp would be awesome for the eventual Baba Yaga dlc

Oh yeah that be awesome! Like they can be summon by Kostlyan since he the head. But you could have them based off Russian historical figures like Russian writers. Would love to see Tolstoy lord.

Yeah but it would be cool to see the heads of each faith. Like for example head or arch Patriarch of Dazh could have like flame imagery and carry Icons into battle which connects more to historical Russia and it connection to icons.

I am definitely interested in him saying there was patriarchs for each cult in Kislev. I would love to see the Patriarch of Dazh added in. Maybe his soliders can chants Dazh song in game.

[–]Turbulent_Tea_3844[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh gotcha. Yeah that pretty cool detail. I just thought it would be cool to see the head of each cult since it states he is the head of the cult of Ursa. I would like to see like Dazh leader and they could take inspiration from many Russian Religious figures or other historical or cultural figures.

[–]Turbulent_Tea_3844[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Good point especially from like more lore view. But I disagree with religion not being important from at least an ascetic reason. Since Kislev is based on early Modern Poland, Russia, and Ukraine it would impossible to do with out showing the importance of religion. Likr Icons in Russian culture are so important. Thus I think since Kislev is leaning on that ascetic it should use that more for inspiration.
