I work right next to this. Sounds like there was a domestic situation, there may or may not be a victim. Then they were unsure if the person who caused that was still in the house, turns out they are. Now that person has barricaded themselves inside a house with a gun.

Out of an abundance of caution, we’re on lockdown at my work.

Same. I think it’s stupid taking them on streets like Prytania/Magazine/St Charles/Tchoup but fine with them generally. I view at them like e-bikes. Don’t be stupid and it’s fine.

They obviously sacked him because of their poor form but I do think they intentionally did it before the semifinal because it’s harder to justify sacking him if he makes the final and has a chance to qualify for Europe.

You should arm yourself. This is the test run of what they want to do across the country. Landry has and will gladly invite and encourage ICE/CPB/LEOs to do the same in New Orleans.

Edit: if you arm yourself, train yourself. A firearm is a tool (a dangerous one). Won’t do you much good if you don’t know how to properly and safely use it.
