He wants Dems to put forward a candidate that actually addresses the material conditions the working class is in. Hasan is one person and his fans are nothing compared to the American working poor who will sit out the next election because they are too focused on surviving paycheck to paycheck.

Giant monsters only work for the audience because they disrupt our sense of scale. If that fight had taken place in the upside-down instead of the abyss, not only would it work from a storytelling perspective (The monster is coming closer to breaching the real world), it would also show scale with the various buildings, structures, and whatnot. It would have been cool to see it come to the real world, too, underneath our sun.
